This is an INCREDIBLE local cafe. I have gotten lunch here many times (I HIGHLY recommend the ham club sandwich) for a very affordable price. It's a great place to sit and work as there are a number of tables, bar seating, and a bathroom as well.
Owners were incredibly nice, the prices were pretty good too
This place is a Gem, we came to NJ because my Son wanted to visit American Dream Mall - we had not encountered friendly people at any of the food spots we had gone to. I was looking for a bakery and saw this place said friendly staff, and boy was that on point. Super friendly staff, everything was fresh and delicious and the place is clean. 11 out of 10 for me. If you are in NJ it's a must go to. If in NY worth the drive.

Sweets & Cafe Bakery is a delightful spot for coffee and pastries, known for its excellent service and clean facilities. Located a few blocks from a dentist's office, it's a great place to relax and enjoy a cafe con leche or cortadito. The menu features tasty options like ocho with guava and cream, croissants, and sandwiches, including a popular turkey, egg, and cheese on a croissant. The sausage and egg sandwich and croissant with egg and cheese are super tasty and filling, while the pineapple cake and cream pastry are delicious treats. Perfect for breakfast, coffee breaks, or a quiet afternoon, this kid-friendly bakery has a lovely atmosphere with sun shining through the glass. The team is kind and smiling, the coffee and decaf are delicious, and the toilets smell amazing. With reasonable prices and calming bossa nova music, it’s a perfect place for eating locally.
