I’ve eaten enough of the menu at Breakin Bread that I should probably start paying rent. Sweet, savory, breakfast, baked goods I “accidentally” ordered… not a single miss. Everything slaps. I can’t wait to try their new burgers.
Then I see a 1 star review that just says “disgusting,” which is fascinating because that means either their taste buds have passed away or they walked into the wrong building entirely. Sir or ma’am, this is not a gas station hot dog.
This place is wall to wall 5 stars for a reason. If you don’t like the food here, that’s not a Breakin Bread problem, that’s a you problem. The rest of us will be over here ordering again.

I came before with the previous owner, I’ve returned twice since the new ownership took over and WOW. Today I tried their new burger series. I had the Breakfast em Berlim & it did not disappoint. The combination of flavors between the savory & the sweet is a genius idea. & the sauce? No comments. It was delicious. Do yourself a favor & visit them. You will not regret it.

First time here and searched for best local bakeries near me and found this gem! They have delicious daily specials and Portuguese baked goods as well as fresh breads. I got a little bit of everything to go and it was all packaged carefully in boxes. Highly recommend this place! Try their “galão”!

The lady made my order wrong. We went back to complain, but she keeps talking back. Menu is also wrong. I told her that the old cashier which was the young lady knows my order and it was right, the reason why I come back, she told me that she got fired because she made a lot of mistakes.. The lady who cooks made our sandwich wrong lol blaming the old cashier. I wish I could give zero star.
I work in the area, forgot to pack breakfast/lunch and saw this place was in walking distance. I ordered a bacon, egg and swiss + an iced coffee + a beef empanada. I paid $16 dollars for 3 subpar items.. I can get way better food and coffee at a cheaper price (but I'm also from the city). I noticed options are limited in this area. I don't care to spend so long as the the food is worth it. Empanada was mostly dough and full of air. My 8 y/o daughter makes me a better breakfast sandwich. The staff was pleasant. It was HOT as hell in there. 80 degree day and absolutely no air flow. The pastries looked good. May go back to try one.

A Bit Disappointing Experience
I recently visited this bakery, and while the food was okay and the atmosphere was decent, I had a rather strange experience. I asked for a sample of ice cream, which I think is pretty common in any ice cream shop, but they told me they don’t do that. This was the first time I’ve ever encountered that at a place that sells ice cream, and I found it quite odd and disappointing. Overall, the food was ok, but that small interaction definitely impacted my experience. I don’t think we’ll be back
