The food is the typical portuguese cuisine. However beware as they try charging extra on your bill and when questioned the lady said it was a table fee. On another occasion they added extra 15% on the bill and when questioned they said it was tip. I generally tip 20% however I dont like when they sneak in prices without explanation. Tipping is not a law and should be left for the costumer to decide. Their sister store on Clark does not charge table fees or pushes tips on customers.

My favorite Portuguese restaurant whenever I'm in NJ. I usually get the half combo. Couple days ago I tried the appetizer sized cooked clams, with garlic and onions. Loved it.

Store front establishment with excellent food and service. Offers vegetables (cabbage, carrots and potatoes) as an alternate to French fries and rice. Food is cooked to perfection and the staff is friendly.
