Carmen's is top tier when it comes to a local bakery. The people there are nice and their hot fresh bread in the morning always delivers! The staff is friendly and I go there so much I don't even have to ask anymore lol. I will continue to go here as long as they're open!

Just moved to Union and I just can't get enough of Carmen's bakery! The fresh Italian bread in the morning is to die for. Every family or friend that has stayed over has gotten a chance to try it out and everyone has always had the same reaction. Service is great and the workers are all super nice. I can't wait to try all of their Italian pastry's which I heard were phenomenal as well. I can't wait! Recommend 10/10!!

Carmen’s Bakery in Union, NJ is an Iconic Business in our community. Their fresh baked breads, cookies, pastries as well as their delicious pizza dough is to me personally, the BEST you can buy in all of Union. A family owned business when I found them 15 years ago, now owned by yet another sweet, friendly and always welcoming family. Try them!??????

I've visited this place over five times and I've always been incredibly impressed with this bakery's quality and service. This place has some of the most reasonably priced Italian cookies and baked goods in the area! The staff is very welcoming and care a lot about every customer. I got their jelly cookies and a loaf of their Italian bread and was really happy with how fresh everything was! Would recommend this place to everyone living in the area.

Great rolls that were 50 cents, but are now 75 cents each. Bought some sfogliatelle and biscotti, and my friends loved them.

Very Disappointed! Has to be the only italian bakery that doesn't know how to make bread. They need to stick to whatever they think they make good. Too soft and absolutely no crust. Waste of $7.00.

It's not a bakery, it's a dream. There are doughnuts with different fillings, ready-made dough from which my wife bakes delicious cherry pies.
