I ordered my cake online on December 1, 2025 for pick-up on December 7, 2025. When I arrived to pick it up, the attendant had no idea about my order and couldn’t locate it in any of the freezers. She even went into the garbage to pull out a receipt and claimed the cake was supposed to be picked up on December 6, which was not correct.
She then pointed to a cake in the corner and tried to give me one of the $19.99 cakes, which was not what I ordered. I explained that my order was $37.99 and asked her to check the emails or the system. After checking the computer, she confirmed the correct order — yet still gave me a $29.99 cake (zoom on right corner of cake to see the tag). At that point, I didn’t have the energy to argue anymore.
I am extremely disappointed in this store and its employees. There was no attention to detail, no preparedness, and no customer care. I will not be returning. Thank you for nothing — the cake is going straight in the trash.

I’m really disappointed with my experience at this Carvel Ice Cream Shop. They stop serving soft-serve a full 30 minutes before closing, which is frustrating when you make the effort to get there in time. Even worse, if you arrive 15 minutes before closing just to quickly buy something pre-packaged from their fridge, the staff treats you like you’re inconveniencing them. No greeting, no smile, and an overall unfriendly attitude. Has happened multiple times.
Ice cream should be about joy and good vibes—unfortunately, the service here leaves a bad taste that no amount of sprinkles can fix.

Every year my husband gets a custom Kirby cake for my birthday. It's our tradition! And they do a pretty great job every year!

I had a gift card that could not be redeemed even though I had redeemed part of this same card before at this same store. I insisted because I was trying to get rid of the card. Eventually the manager was able to force redeem it but not without some “arm twisting”

I want to leave a review for an outstanding employee named Michelle. I recently placed an order for a hello kitty graduation cake, and Michelle assisted me throughout the process. From the very beginning, she was incredibly patient and helpful. Even though I was a bit indecisive at times, Michelle remained kind, professional, and consistently provided excellent customer service.
Her communication was clear and thoughtful, and she truly made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. It’s not easy dealing with customers who aren’t quite sure what they want, but Michelle handled it with grace and a positive attitude. Employees like her deserve to be recognized—not only for their skill and efficiency, but for the kindness and professionalism they bring to every interaction. Honestly, I believe she deserves a raise!
