I used to go to Charlie's years ago when they used to be on Michigan Ave. in Kenelworth. My wife & I stopped in to the one on Rt 22 in Union when we were at the Home Depot there. Our Italian hot dog sandwiches were very good, I always liked Charlie's because their Italian hot dogs are not very greasy like some others. Definitely will go back here the next time I'm in that area.

All I can say is wow. Best Italian dogs around. Like omg mouth watering. They also have a sausage hotdogs combo. Homemade lemonade. Nice family atmosphere, great service.

Best in the USA! We visited frequently when you were located in Kenilworth, New Jersey. When we moved to South Jersey, we still drove about two hours for your Italian hotdogs with potatoes, onions, peppers, and mustard on that delicious bread!

ordered a cheesesteak with no mention of ketchup and yet my sandwich arrives smothered in ketchup. was told that is the way they come when i called to complain but their menu makes no mention of of ketchup on all steak sandwiches. I have never once ordered a cheesesteak from anywhere that came with ketchup

Placed a big order today with them. And ordered a push cart hot dog and added chilli. Well when we got back to work. The hotdog had mustard on it and chilli juice because the chilli that I was expecting would at least have meat and beans. Guess I was wrong. Last time ordering �

If you come from the UK, you won't recognise this as a hot dog. Never seen anything so big, pretty much a cob loaf, cut in half then stuffed with sausages and every lovely thing you can imagine. Tasted great, and if you are hungry, head over and get one and if you're not hungry, get one just to experience it.
