I used to prefer this place to the other bakery because they're faster and the bread is bigger, but they are not very friendly. The young woman with the glasses (not the owner) is always nice, but every time I go, the other woman behind the counter (short, no glasses) treats me differently (no clue why), doesn't smile when I smile and say hello, but does so to other customers. Never paid mind to it, but today she made it clear...The owner treated the woman behind me differently too. I'm Hispanic, the woman behind me was black.I am not sure if it's because the woman behind me and myself aren't Portuguese, but if I were the owner/workers, I'd be mindful of racial micro aggressions.Or just be friendly to people that aren't Portuguese? They are always super nice and friendly when conversing with Portuguese customers, but change dramatically from one customer to the next. Not a cute look. Won't be coming back for a while, which sucks because I do enjoy their baked goods. You have to treat people nice, especially when we come to spend money in your business!

The Portuguese bread is *chefs kiss*. I had gotten a few pastries- elephant ears & lemon blueberry muffin. I was really looking forward to the pasties de nata but they were sold out my noon on that Sunday. Staff were nice & bakery seems to have a good amount of regulars. I saw that some walked in & staff knew their order. Cute & clean place. I'll be back here!

save yourself the headache and dont do business with this place, The owner Carlos (who runs the delivery bakery package) is very unprofessional and condescending. He acts like he is doing you, the customer, a favor. He cant admit a mistake was made nor makes an effort to make it right. He promised delivery on two different occasions. one being Christmas Eve, where he did not show up to deliver many different customers food, including ours. Thus, messing up ours (and others) Christmas plans. Many people did not find out their orders were not arriving until 5pm Christmas Eve. by then it was too late to make any plans for Christmas eve or Christmas. He claims he was in the hospital, Yet, almost all his other orders were delivered. He also claimed his wife was in the hospital. amazing how that happened huh yet people got their food. When people posted reviews on his FB page stating this he deleted them. This business didn't even offer a way to make it up to us - not even a measly 10% discount on a future order.fast forward, I decide to give him another chance and once again he plays games. This time he showed up one hour and 45 minutes late. Then he had the nerve to blame me. You dont agree to a delivery time then expect someone to stay home when they stated they were leaving at a particular time. Let me teach you about customer service - what you should have done was send a message stating you were running late and asking when I would be home by.. but nope, you show up anyways then leave the food sitting outside for four hours (when we got home) and expect me to pay for it and send condescending messages via FB messenger, laughs at the fact my wife got sick then blocks me. I am not eating or paying for food that sits outside that long and that shows up almost two hours late. You said you were picking the food up, how come you never came back...To top this all off, the food isn't even that great. I did receive my very first order (1 of 3 orders). The fried food dishes are not very good. The beef empanadas are bland. The shrimp and seafood cakes were disgusting. The chicken empanadas were decent and the deserts and bread were ok and worth ordering again (which is what I attempted to order along with the new sandwich package).order at your own risk but beware, if there is an issue, it wont be resolved.

Came here with my girlfriend for breakfast. She had one egg tart, coffee, and a sour cream muffin and I had two eggs with homefries, an egg tart, and coffee. Great place for a hearty breakfast. Cooked fresh and lots of bakery items. The egg tarts are so good! The coffee was good.

In 2019, Musk released a rap track, "RIP Harambe" on SoundCloud as Emo G Records. The track, which refers to the killing of Harambe the gorilla and the subsequent Internet sensationalism surrounding the event, was performed by Yung Jake, written by Yung Jake and Caroline Polachek, and produced by BloodPop.[224][225] The following year, Musk released an EDM track, "Don't Doubt Ur Vibe", featuring his own lyrics and vocals.[226] While Guardian critic Alexi Petridis described it as "indistinguishable... from umpteen competent but unthrilling bits of bedroom electronica posted elsewhere on Soundcloud",[227] TechCrunch said it was "not a bad representation of the genre".[226]

My job has ordered from this place a couple of times and it has been a hit or miss, ummmmm mostly MISS. They are cheap with the Taylor ham when you ask them for a Taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwich and they charge you so much when you ask them for extra. We had ordered a birthday cake from them for a coworker and it was the worst tasting cake. When everyone tried it they said that it seemed as though the cake was frozen and let it to thaw and then proceeded to put frosting on top which by the way was poorly done and it just looked like my niece had decorated it. The only thing that they have going for themselves is their Portuguese rolls. That is the only thing they are good for other wise I would never buy food from here. Go to Blue Ribbon that is way much better

Terrible experience. Ordered breakfast croissant (egg and cheese), but the lady messed up my order by putting ham into it, which I never eat (because I am Muslim). She started blaming me that it was my fault and I ordered that, which sounds very offensive to my religion. I ended up getting charged for it in a very rude way. Wow. Way too mean. Will never come back.P.S. I do understand that she might have made a mistake, I wouldn't even mind paying for it - if she wouldn't be so angry at me and insisting that it was my fault. Just say at least sorry. Ridiculous.

Great selection and tasted wonderful. It is a small place but you can sit down for meals. I have not tried the sit down but maybe in the future.

What a hidden treasure!! I should have ordered a whole box of the pasteis de natas! So many things to try here, can't wait to dig into the rest! A must hit spot in union County.
