My expectations were already very low since it’s a very casual place. We moved to Union 2 years ago and wanted to try out some local food. The burger is worst than the ones they serve for school lunch. It is absolutely not edible. The Philly cheesesteak is a bit more edible but has no flavor at all. There’s no salt or pepper on anything. I could’ve made better food at home.

Sadly the quality of Galloping Hill Inn has gone way down hill over the years, not exactly pun intended. The last time I was there was towards the end of the summer of 2023. At the time I was applying to jobs, and the new owner Rita was highly unpleasant towards me numerous times. Not only due to the job application, but even when ordering food. I couldn’t talk to employees of hers that I knew for years, Pete and Tony, she literally yelled at me for leaning on the counter while I was waiting on about a $40-$50 order, she told me I was in the way of paying customers, of which I was one, and they were nearly empty at the time. Etc. Sadly the hot dogs, cheese burgers, fries, and mozzarella sticks were some of the best in Union, not anymore though. I am very, very highly unlikely to ever return, and many in my family have patronized them over the years, sad but true.

Heard great things about this place. Decided to get dinner with a friend. Have to say the hot dogs were the worst hotdogs I have ever had. The onion rings were top notch tho but stay away from the hots.

This place used to really good. I hadn’t been there in years and decided to stopped by for lunch last week and let me say it was a waste of $50
The food was not good at all, in fact my son order bbq boneless wings and he couldn’t even eat them. The wings were old and hard!
So disappointed

Ordered two hotdogs and a small drink, paid with cash, and was charged a transaction fee along with taxes on the receipt. Will not be back.

I have been going to Galloping Hill Inn since I was a child. My family loved the food. Impreased by the staff memorizing orders. We moved away 5 years ago and came back last week for a visit. Very anxious to go to Galloping Hill for their famous hotdogs. So disappointed. The place is so run down. There were 5 of us and we all ordered different items off the menu. Food was terrible. Not what we expected. Is there new management? Next visit we will pass on going to Galloping Hill.
