Being from out of town we decided to eat here. I really didn’t feel comfortable with the service due to it being our first time there of course we have to look longer at the menu and decided what we want. I caught one server winking at the other server as I was trying to decide what I wanted. I stated to them that it was my first time there. I was really frustrated after that. I don’t think I’ll go back again. The food was good though.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!
I came in at 6:45 before they close at 8 pm and while they were still serving people. I waited in line for 20 minutes!!! I was the last person in line and EVERY server looked at me multiple times but NEVER asked me for my order. They pretended that I didn’t exist!!!
I WILL NEVER SPEND MONEY HERE AGAIN!!

This is my 2nd time coming to this place, food tasted good last time; however, the staff is very very rude. You can walk in happy and walk out upset just by their demeanor. Prolly will not go anymore. They act like they don’t want paying customers. The owners need to review customer service protocols with their staff because it’s bad.

This was my first time visiting the Rt. 22 location although I know they've been there a few years now. The brown stew fish, plantain, and cabbage was not hot. The three women behind the counter served the dishes and handled monies and never changed gloves. When we finished eating I took the tray and placed it on the counter. I didn't know the food was supposed to be discarded and the tray taken to the counter. I did not complain, I don't like to complain when people are handling my food. I know this was not the Tavern On The Green but this was not a good dining experience for us.

Attitudes and customer service go hand in hand. The lady who served my oxtail dinner was not pleasant, And gave me the last of the plantain which didnt look appetizing. If you are unhappy with your job change it. But don't try to make customers experience a bad one.

So I got jerk chicken patty with cocoa bread and he gave me the worst heartburn not to mention stomach ache finally ended up throwing up to relieve myself. Not back.

The food is seasoned with to much Accent. There is an after taste that left me nauseated. Approx $40 worth of food tossed. Wings only looked good. Curry goat fatty and again too much accent. Rice was mauky and soft. Just not good.
