Blair and the team at H&S Soul Food are absolutely amazing! The fried chicken is hands down some of the best we’ve ever had — crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. My girlfriend and I especially love the sweet chili wings — they’re out of this world and easily our favorite.
The atmosphere is great too — the music sets the perfect vibe, and the service is always warm and welcoming. You can feel the love and care that goes into everything here.

I love soul food and I saw a bogo deal (buy 1 get 1) so I placed my order for pickup the store is very pretty very clean the I was helped immediately once I was seen. The service was amazing I ordered the chicken meal the chicken was good nice size but a little salty but still eatable. I also got cabbage and potato salad the cabbage is plain no seasoning whatsoever the potato salad was DISGUSTING it taste like coleslaw wouldn’t recommend either side threw it in the trash. The mac and cheese was the worst I’ve ever had in my life no seasoning no love just noodles in a bowl full of cheese around it I paid 27 dollars for this. Would I eat here again possibly if they get a new cook the only way I could eat the Mac was to pull the cheese off the noodles and add it to the cabbage

Second time ordering from here , I love the fact they give good service very nice people , I enjoy the jerk chicken a lot which I would recommend , I wasn’t to fine with the Mac and cheese and the yams , the second time I ordered the yams was much better this time . I’m not a fan of the fried whiting , I haven’t tried anything else but so far Jerk chicken the best I had tried . They give a very good portion which I like a lot and always have a buy one get one free deal .

Just absolutely beautiful. The food is actually so exquisite you can smell the aroma from it cooking when walking up to the place. The staff made me feel welcome and inviting so I almost ordered the whole menu. Will def be back. Don't forget to try the blackberry lemonade, and the mango.

I went for Dinner and everything was delicious. I had the chicken wings with yams and Mac & cheese as sides. Delicious. My spouse had the same but with garlic mash and string beans as a side. We were so pleased that we returned for Sunday brunch the next day. The atmosphere is cozy and hip. A definite local gem. The service was great as well

Good afternoon, I am the office manager at a mental health program. At present, we do not have a cook for our agency and I am trying to provide nutritious meals for our clients that they might not otherwise have. I have been ordering from local restaurants for months now and am trying to offer our clients more nutritious meals. I have been reaching out to local restaurants requesting mini-meals or lowering the price for combo orders to meet our budget of $10/person with guaranteed orders of 25-35 meals at minimum once/week. So far, I have been able to secure two restaurants that will deliver to our agency by noon for our client and staff meals. When I called today, I asked specifically to speak with the owner or a manager. The young lady that answered explained to me that she was not in the store right now and asked what the call was in reference to. I explained and she was very quick to tell me that there was nothing on the menu other than chicken wings at that price point. I took the time to explained that I am attempting to give your restaurant business. That I was not attempting to get a discount on a few meals and gave my number for the manager/owner to reach out and further discuss my request. However after further thought, that interaction left a very bad taste in my mouth and we are no longer interested in placing an order with your restaurant. You might want have a conversation with staff regarding interactions with potential large order customers.
