Food is always fresh Pizza is just right, not too much cheese, perfect crust. Clams are awesome in marinara sauce. Only pizza place in union I frequent. Good job guys!!! Oh and the salad is awesome too!!!

The vodka sauce is amazing, and really all the food we had was great. Also, there's plenty to eat, with bread, salad, oil, etc.

I moved recently to Union from the Paramus area and I have been struggling to find a good go to pizza place. I read the great reviews for the pizza here so I figured I'd give it a try. I'm not exactly sure why the reviews are so amazing. We got the old fashioned pie with sausage, wings, and a Chef salad. The pizza was MAYBE par for the course, the crust was fairly decent but nothing memorable. There was barely any sauce to even taste so I'm not sure I can comment on that. Everything about the pizza was just, meh. The wings were plain, small, nothing to ride home about. They were the best thing though. Now, I am used to having a chef salad being covered in turkey, ham, and cheese but this was just over the top. There was yellow American cheese all over the place. It was unfortunate because the dressing was good and the other components were fresh. I had such high hopes because of the raving reviews and 4.8 stars but I'm not sure if we got the food on a bad night or the people reviewing this place have never had good pizza before.

Gondola Pizza & Restaurant in Union, New Jersey has some of the best pizza I have ever tasted. Their homemade sauce is like no other pizza place and the cheese they use is higher quality. If you leave in the Union, NJ area definitely stop by Gondola Pizza & Restaurant for a great slice of pizza.
