I’ve been going to this place since I was a child, and I’ve always loved coming in. However, I was disappointed to see they’ve now joined the bandwagon of passing labor costs and credit card fees onto their customers.

I don’t mind tipping—I’ve worked as a server and bartender, so I understand the importance of it. If you make me a sandwich, I’ll gladly tip you. But this type of mandatory tipping feels more like a way for owners to avoid paying fair wages, ultimately letting the rich get richer.

And now, on top of that, there’s a $1 fee for credit card transactions? In this economy? That’s excessive. Most places charge a small percentage if they pass on fees—not a flat rate.

I wrote to them suggesting they should clearly post the credit card fee, and they replied that the sign is by the first register. I didn’t see it. I suggested they display it outside or at least on their website, where people can see it before they decide to go in.

Honestly, a $1 fee for using a credit card isn’t reasonable. If they insist on passing fees along, it should be a small percentage—like other businesses do

Delicious ice cream

I was put on to the non dairy ice cream. And I love it. Got the vanilla didn't like the mango sampler. But the vanilla was on point. Now I can feel like I'm part of the in crowd. Because I can't eat dairy for about 7 years now. Thank you

We absolutely love this ice cream shop! It’s a regular spot for us, and we were thrilled to learn they also cater private events. They catered my daughter’s birthday and did an incredible job! The communication and service were top-notch. Highly recommend!

Excellent place for homemade ice cream! Lots of interesting flavors (think ube and vegan mango), great texture and creaminess. You can get a couple of different flavors per cup/cone, and they let you sample quite a few before choosing! I got black raspberry, blueberry, and ube. A bit expensive, but the quality and service are worth it.

Good flavor, reasonable prices, decent sized scoops. On the day we stopped by (7/25/2024), they had six non-dairy flavors plus eight Italian ice flavors. They had lots of toppings but we ordered the crumbled Oreos to make sure our scoops were vegan. Glad to see Magic Fountain has started carrying vegan flavors. It’s nice to have some dessert options in a town that doesn’t offer much vegan food.

Best ice cream and the owner is beyond lovely! She remembers us every time and even specific things my kids have told her. She goes out of her way to make sure customers have a good experience every time they visit.

Always a pleasure to stop here -- owner's frequently there and she 's really pleasant to chat with. Ice cream is always on point with the flavors I have tried. The selection is pretty extensive.
