I was really looking forward to this place as I live nearby. I was disappointed from the start. First as soon as i drive in, they force you to do valet parking. It wasn’t a busy night and the lot has plenty of spaces for one to park on their own. Valet was unnecessary. Inside has great decor and the servers were friendly. We ordered ropa vieja and they over complicated things by making you chose one side dish at extra charge. One side. Why? It’s ropa vieja, just bring out the dish the way it’s supposed to be made people! Throughout the night they sing happy birthday to other patrons and bang on drums making it a loud and annoying experience. Then to top it all off, there’s a photographer trying to get you to take pictures and then charge $20 for one photo. All we wanted was a pleasant dinner and not this run around to squeeze out every penny out of us. You’re a restaurant off Rt 22 Union, not New York City.

I love this place! This is the 2nd time I've been there. The 1st was just my husband and I, and he loved it. It was his birthday. Today was with my Dad, sister, and nephew. I still love it! The food was amazing! The drinks were gooooood!, and the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, beautiful, and new. The service was nice too. They check on you to make sure everything is OK and you don't have to wait long for your food. I will be back!

Took my family here for dinner. Unfortunately, we found the food to be very bland. The mofongo was not good, yuca was watery, overcooked and the creole sauce lacked flavor. Chicken was dry. Bistec steak was cooked well, but the sauce had a terrible tangy flavor. Although the food was disappointing, the service was excellent and attentive.

Wow, this place is amazing! I don’t usually eat a lot of Cuban food because I don’t eat meat but they definitely had a lot of seafood & some plant based options that really shocked me. The menu list whether things have meat or pork in it & I think that’s really thoughtful because you don’t see that often.
I got the ‘Camarones’ which is the shrimp & garlic mofongo & everything about it was incredible. I was served by the lovely Ariel, & he was super accommodating, checked in often & all around had great energy, ask for him when you go!
The place is aesthetically pleasing & the vibe was really 1 of 1. Highly recommend!

The Arroz Chino Cubano was a literal joke, just white rice and a bunch of random things thrown into it. No flavor, no effort, just a joke. Then the Mofongo was served room temp and cold in the center. Not returning back
I got take out lunch. Food was tasty, good portion, arrived on time.

Unfortunately, I had to drop my rating from a 5 star to a bad experience my friend and I had with a rude bartender. Although the food was great, we were ignored while others were attended to. We had to signal him multiple times to get help. We had to tell him charge us for the happy hour price, as he charged us for full price. He didnt even offer to show us the happy hour menu! We asked for waters, which was given to us AFTER we were finished eating. We were hoping to try some more food and drinks, but because of his terrible service we left and went to another place where we were treated 10x better.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I recommend it 100% family friendly and modern.

I celebrated my mother's 60th Birthday..Had a party of 15..everything was amazing from the staff and food was amazing....The cuban feel..Been there before..The music was a little too low..Wish it was a little higher maybe a dj just so you can vibe a little more..wiggle and jiggle in my seat..but overall had a great time!
