Make sure to check your food if you ever order something from Manhattan Bagel online because they don’t seem to read the notes in your order!!

I ordered a sandwich from them today and the server was very professional with me despite them not reading my order and placing pork bacon on it when I ordered online and wrote in my notes that I wanted TURKEY SAUSAGE ONLY.

However, the OWNER, Mr. Josh Wong, responded to my review in an argumentative, petty, and unprofessional manner when they’re the ones to screw my order up!! He actually felt like I should give him the benefit of a doubt for refunding my money and requesting to make the sandwich over when that’s THE BARE MINIMUM!! No offers for a coupon, no genuine effort to retain me as a customer, it was passive aggressive back and forth emails. I guess the owner feels like going back and forth with an upset customer for not reading their order is what kept him in business for 25 years.

Don’t order from here if you want your food made in a particular way. They probably won’t read your order, put whatever they want on your food, then go tit for tat with you like a kindergartener for being mad that they screwed your order up.

Not worth the money. Rahway Bagels in Rahway NJ is infinitely better

Cheesesteak was poorly made. Last time it was properly made, this time they forgot the extra cheese I paid for and didn’t even bother to shred the steak or melt the cheese on it. It also had a strange taste, are they supposed to put salt on it or something? Was very bland. The ultimate laziness was put into my sandwich, and I was the only one in the store.

They also gave me another wrong item. I got a french toast roll (which costs extra) with cream cheese and they gave me a french toast bagel.

They get orders wrong a lot here, and nothing every changes. The owner just uses the spot to park his money, because they are always poorly trained.

Another time a few months ago, the girl making my order literally left in the middle of it because her shift was over and the grill was busy. She didnt tell anyone and I waited a long time until someone realized. I made them remake the entire order.

There is always an issue here. You will get a correct, good tasting order maybe 50% of the time. Well, back to not going here anymore.
