We dined in at Mark Twain and my order was steak and shrimp with broccoli and baked sweet potato. My steak was overdone and rubbery and the broccoli was cold. My friend had a seafood dinner with the most pitiful almost non existent lobster tail we have ever seen before. The waitress was very good but the manager not so much. He exchanged the lobster tail but tried to convince me that my steak was made correctly when even the waitress commented that it was over done. I am a dine in customer as well as ordering on Uber Eats but today will be my last time patronizing this place, because I feel the food was not worth the $77 I spent for the two of us. I also feel I was not treated as a valued customer. I guess the manager did not feel it was worth it to make a customer satisfied.
It was a nice old fashioned diner with a bakery inside as well, I had the silver dollar pancakes which were good. But I feel like later in the day I got a little sick from the food and ended up in the bathroom for a while...

Our waitress was really nice, but the food wasn’t that great. We ordered cream of chicken soup and instead we got the chicken noodle. I ordered the souvlaki platter and she bought me the gyro platter fries were cold and the feta wasn’t the real feta in the Greek salad and the drinks were flat. We didn’t say anything to the waitress because it was so busy. We will be back but next time make sure your waitress’s does the orders correct.

Came here randomly driving past it. Great diner. Jim the server/bartender was awesome. I have celiac and there aren’t many of any other diners that can accommodate that. Which I’m sure is especially hard in a diner restaurant. Jim swore they could make GF orders and ensure no cross contamination. He said he would go in the kitchen and personally oversee the prep. Which I’m pretty sure he did. I actually waited two days to see if he was wrong. But I didn’t get sick or anything which absolutely confirms they can/did make GF food. Also, they have a small but good sized bar. I normally wouldn’t care about the bar. But the town I live in practically has no bars and no diners. So I will probably be back. Even though it’s about 30m away. It’s one of those diners you would actually eat dinner in. Not just breakfast options. That might only make sense to me but it’s a good thing.

Came in late evening, Sunday, September 15. I arrived with a man I was meeting for the first time. & very quickly was extremely embarrassed because one of your male staff members made a comment about my body. He told me I was a “big girl” dating a skinny man.
We ended up, leaving without eating and went to a different diner. In what world is it OK to comment on another person‘s body, not to mention at a place of business for eating. I’ve worked extremely hard to lose a lot of weight and I exercise every day. I do not appreciate this disrespectful disgusting behavior. I’ve told everyone I know about this already and will never return.

After picking up the order that was wrong, and getting home to discover this, we called to explain,. Charlene could care less and was rude and no help. They told us " we are trying to close and to call back tomorrow" and ended the call. I ordered one thing, but was given a handwritten note that they did not have that item, so they substituted it. Imagine ordering a burger, they let you come and pick it up to arrive home and find a note that says we didnt have burgers but enjot this grilled chicken sandwich. Then when you call back, you get brushed off and short of being told to screw off, we are busy.

Generous amount of food. I ordered Turkey, which is one of the dishes I rate diners on. Compared to other diners, this is a bit above average. However, even with loads of gravy (they gave me a bowl full) and with a mild stuffing, I felt it was a little bland. Good for people on a low-salt diet? I needed to add a lot of pepper and some salt. I still would have liked a more savory taste. Nevertheless, the portion was big and the "side salad" was more like a mini salad entree. Take a look at the pictures.
Wait staff was very nice. Lots of people there on a Sunday morning, so you may have to wait. Price is slightly high, but then everything is compared to a few years ago. BUT I'd rather pay more for this kind of quality. I will go back when I am in the area again.
