Do not recommend from my 1st time ordering whole chicken with rice. Chicken was dry & warm not juicy or hot Pieces were all chopped up & not very appealing, chicken & flavor was bland ,the pieces were small , mostly bones without too much meat It looked like somebody tossed in people's leftover chicken ..beans & fries were good,

The food was shockingly poor in quality.
The picanha was a complete letdown — it was a low quality cut (choice or below) but lacked any sear or color...the meat could have just been microwaved to cook it. The sausage was undercooked and actually raw on the inside, which is both dangerous and unacceptable. The pork chop? It was simply GROSS.
For $30, this meal is an insult, not only to the residents of New Jersey but also to the Portuguese community. This level of quality and care is unacceptable, and I can’t recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic experience.

Although the restaurant is really nice inside, We always get take out. We order the ribs and chicken combo and theyre great. The order comes with rice fries and a side of black beans. most places will only give a choice of 2 sides. Rei da Picanha will give you all 3. Very good food and fast service.
