Cold in there, we're out of one of their drinks i always have. Some house red drink, not first time it was empty. Fries are always a different size. I order smash fries regular, no consistency on about or amount of seasoning

This is one of those places that asks you for a tip at checkout BEFORE you even get your food or service. (Tipping for fastfood service shouldn't even exist let alone should it be solicited to you by the cashier!) Had I known the service I was about to receive I wouldn't have tipped at all! I will not return here to this business ever again. The cashier offered me a Buy 1 get one promotion on any burger. Dec. 16th 2024. I thought this would be a lot of food so I got a burger and no fries. She then handed me one burger and said she forgot to apply the promotion to my order. I was then told to return tomorrow, purchase another burger, and they'll apply the promotions then. IMO this is not the way for an employee or business to handle making a mistake.

The food is always fresh and the service is great. I am very picky and I have never had a problem with my food there. Even when the place was busy there wasn't a long wait for me food!
Parking: The parking lot can become quite crowded because of the other stores around it but you can always find a space to park.
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly 100%. I take my God son all the time!

I went to Smash Burger today during my 30-minute break. There was no one inside the store when I placed my order at 1:38 PM. However, my food didn't come out until 1:55 PM. While waiting, I observed the server at the register taking another order, and Gerald, the manager, talking over my food with the two cooks. As my lunch break was almost up, I walked up and asked for my food. I returned to my seat and found a hair on my sandwich. The cheese was cold and the jalapenos were cold too. Normally, the Smash Burger cheese is always melting and juicy but this sandwich was cold and didn't seem to be grilled properly. Given the price of the sandwich, it was quite disappointing. I went back and explained the situation to the manager, who responded rudely and dismissed my complaint by saying that the sandwich was just cooked. I demanded a refund, but after providing my name and email, I was told that my request could not be processed within an hour. There was no receipt or any other evidence to imply that I would get a refund. Gerald then threatened to call the General Manager at Krispy Kreme, ( that harassment)my place of employment, to report me. His actions were unrelated to my workplace and highly inappropriate. The money spent was mine and not that from Krispy Kreme's GM. I found his behaviour very rude. A manager like him should be disciplined for his poor management skills. He even had the audacity to call my workplace and we are still awaiting that call for his explanation. He didn't even apologize for the undercooked food I received. Furthermore, he mentioned that he was not a server to hand me my food. However, excellent customer service requires multi-tasking. He put on a glove over his dirty hands to hand me my food after talking on the phone and with the cooks over my food. Overall, I was very unhappy with this particular Smash Burger location in Union. I am a pissed customer. The server was very polite, though, which was a slight relief. I ate there yesterday and the sandwich was really good. However, today's sandwich was poorly prepared. I have been a regular Smash Burger customer for years and it's also my kids' favorite place. Sadly, this experience was highly disappointing. Glenridge Bloomfield Avenue is usually my preferred location because it's a good place. Unfortunately, Union's location 1512 sucks👎 awaiting my refund…

Worst place ever ! I was here Thursday night The cashier I did not quite get her name something like “Lena” was very nice ,the store is clean I’ll give it that but the waiting time is absolutely insane I just ordered a large fry and a burger it took over 55 mins for me to get my food . I had to get a refund . The supervisor that was on duty acted like he did not want to do his job at all . I will never come back don’t waste your money here .

This place locks their bathrooms doors so you have to ask someone to open it for you. I hate having to wait for someone to be available to be able unlock and use a bathroom. It's not NYC. Pretty ghetto. Fries were on counter long enough with no heating lamp where they were cold by the time I got my meal. I definitely won't come back to this location ever again.

My 1st time here, as I entered, I noticed Restaurant was CLEAN, something I always look for before ordering 🙂 Then a Very sweet kind young lady named "Kiara" greeted me at the register, & helped me decide on my order. I wanted a turkey burger, she let me know that they have chicken, which is what I ordered and it is delicious✨️✨️ Sweet potato waffle, fries perfectly cooked, also delicious I highly recommend
