I ordered my food thru uber it took and hour and a half, and the food came with it was still warm very full container, so I open my food with looking good and I tasted the whites was good but it looked old not fresh and it was salty, collard greens had no seasoning ,, the felt a lil rubbery it was giving me old oil but the yams were very good I really feel like the fish should of been better for the price and the cornbread was very dry and to thick
The food is awesome! The only thing wrong is that the dining room has been closed since covid.

I received the Fried whiting with mac and cheese and potato salad. The fish could had a little more flavor. But the real concern is the potato salad was in with the hot food. Do of course the best way to eat a cold dish is cold not hot.

We have been using Two Fish and Five Loaves for at least 4 years for our Annual Tricky Tray events. Prior to Covid19 and most recently for our Tricky Tray in 2024. Food has always been hot and tasty with excellent service. However this past Tricky Tray September 2024 the food was cold when they brought and served it and the fish was driedup and crispy instead of the usual delicious flaky whiting. The event catered by two fish and five loaves were our highlight, but this time it was a disappointment. The staff were not very concerned. We actually need to rethink who we will have cater our Tricky Tray for this year 2025. š©š¤š¢

The food is delicious! My union had a black history dinner and Two Fish & Five Loaves catered the food! Very tasty and delicious! I donāt trust a lot soul food restaurants due to tons of sodium and grease but Two Fish & Five Loaves was just right! I will like to one day dine in. I highly recommend this place for catering!

I just picked up three fish sandwiches and OMG the pieces all added up to one piece I kid you not. OOOO and the sandwiches were $9.50. I have tried to even take a picture of this but was unable. This is a crying shame to first and for most to sale a sandwich at this price and to not even have enough to make a sandwich is beyond me. Pleaseeeeeeeee never go there cause you will get beat for you money. I was gonna order over a 100 pieces for my job event, I wish I would. Listen what I'm saying do not go there.

Love food. Great food, but service is very slow for the last few weeks. Maybe stronger front person needed.

I ordered the thanksgiving dinner that I heard on advertise on KISS FM . What they donāt tell you is the food needs to be cooked. Sweet potato pie you have who cook or wait 45min. The cat fish tastes like it was cooked in OLD Oil.
The stuffing Iām not sure what it looked like not what I expected at all.
I drove 25min to get there . To be honest it was like shelter food they could have just gave out ..
I ended up cooking all my dinner anyway . A waste of money
The food had a smell like it was in a warehouse or storage room ..
Please šš¾ please donāt always run to places you hear on the radio.. Try the place out first
Definitely will NOT order here again .

I have the atmosphere a 3 because it was not a suit in a I thought, but we were able to sit outside at the 2 tables there. Food was delicious & everyone was ordering to go.
Parking: It's a small area in front of the building with about 6 spots, busy location. Order ahead so you can be in & out.

Some of the best soul food and fried fish and shrimp Iāve had in jersey!!!!!
I got the fried whiting (4pc) and shrimp (4pc) dinner which comes with 2 sides.
The shrimp and fish were battered, seasoned, and fried to perfection! The yams were perfect, sweet but not too sweet and had a good ratio of cinnamon and nutmeg. The mac was soooo good! ?
The best $21.50 Iāve ever spent!!
10/10 highly recommend!

We have to say that this is the best soul food place we have ever eaten at. It eats Southern cuisine to perfection. The only gripe we have is that you cannot dine in to enjoy the aesthetics, or lack thereof. We think that the portion size is somewhat okay. The corn bread is amazingly unique; perhaps moreso a dessert and is very different from a typical corn bread made for Southern dishes. Be prepared!

Food: 90/100 (The turkey wing was a little dry and was not dressed with a sauce)
Portion to Cost Ratio: 75/100 (The rice was lacking for this category; ask for more)
Comfortable: 60/100 (A little tight, and there is no spot to sit and enjoy the dish)
Hospitality (Staff): 75/100 (We were told that they are nice but mostly cater)
Clean: --/100 (not including restrooms)
Overall Score: 300/400 (75%) āāāāā
Vegetarian options: Please ask the workers.
