First let me state I manage a lube shop directly next door to this location, and after 3 horrible experiences, 2 with the manager in particular, I felt I needed to write this.. 1st time, my staff informed me we get a 10 % discount so even though I find the food barely edible, I decided to give them a try. After giving my order to the manager(young guy with dreads) I asked him about the discount. He literally pushed the register button and then told me it's too late he did the transaction already.(I'm a manager also, he could've voided it) He laughingly informed me that I need to state that I work next door 1st, even though I'm in a uniform that has the business name and my name on my chest. Nevertheless I thought nothing of it and since I'm not begging for anything put it out my mind. 2nd time, Sat 2/22, I had to stop in my office for something and brought my 2 children with me, decided to pop in for food and after waiting almost 15mins without being greeted or addressed at all decided to go to McDonald's instead. 3rd time today 3/6, went over for only a smoothie, dealt with the manager (dreads) again, told him as soon as he asked my order that I was from next door, even though he obviously recognized me. He didn't give me the 10% discount, and after reminding him about what he previously told me he said something about I should download the app, then continued to ask me if I could diagnose what's going on with his Tesla! I politely told him that he and his staff will never get another discount in my shop, and that I would never deal with anyone who does not honor their word or care about their customers. It's a shame that this happened, especially after 3 chances to have a lifelong customer. I couldn't care less about the discount, even though my staff routinely picks up food for the shop where the discount is applied. I care about the treatment I received and management not caring to make it right. Needless to say I'll be ordering food from anywhere but here n the future, sad because I really liked the smoothies..

Valentine's Day there was fun. Made reservations weeks in advance. The place was decorated with balloons, table clothes, etc. we were sat right away and the waiter came soon after to take our order. It's BYOB. Great way to spend Valentine's Day.

The food was especially good this time. The staff seem to enjoy it and probably like the tips too. They are friendly and it is a fun atmosphere with people dressing both up and down, the decor, and the ambience. Does business for your company increase on that day? If so, you might think of another day to celebrate this way. A White Castle Day, an unknown by many holiday? but you have an advertising staff for that. A lot of people don't know about it, have been letting friends know for many years.

I just wanted to acknowledge the crew that worked the drive thru on Saturday night 10/12/24 @ the Union, NJ location. I moved out of NJ, so anytime I can get me some from fresh White Castle, I'm happy. Although I waited in the drive thru for a very extended amount of time, I drove away with a smile. Why? Because the young lady who was working that window and the register for those inside with only 1 other crew member from what I could see, GAVE ME NOTHING BUT STELLAR COSTUMER SERVICE!!!!! She was pleasant as I placed my order...she actually apologized for the delay. When I pulled up to the window and was able to see why it was taking so long, I had to compliment her on how impressed I was with how she was holding everything down. My food was hot and fresh, and my order was accurate.
