Cool Runnings Cuisine Reviews
Excellent Food and an asset to the community of Roselle.
This place has really good food it’s just to expensive I paid $18 for a medium oxtails and only four pieces Smh otherwise the food is good I love there fried chicken we just need more food for our money I highly recommend this place tho best Jamaican restaurant around I literally said beef stew and they give me stew chicken 😂😂😂😂 why they give me old fried chicken it didn’t even taste fresh smh I’m done with this place
was really looking forward to trying the stewed chicken from Cool Runnings, but unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. The chicken was lacking flavor, the seasoning was very underwhelming, and the overall dish just didn’t taste like authentic stewed chicken should.
the chicken wasn’t fried only cooked in graving browning.

Cool Runnings Cuisine offers a delightful dining experience with a variety of vegetarian options, including cabbage and green strange vegetables. The staff is friendly, and the food is cooked to perfection. With easy parking and a kid-friendly atmosphere, it's a great spot to satisfy your cravings. Roti lovers will especially enjoy this spot, which serves up delicious dishes.
The restaurant has received positive reviews, with customers praising the authentic Jamaican cuisine. The oxtail stew, peas, and other dishes are described as excellent, though one customer found the salt fish and okra to have a smoked or herring-like taste. The boiled dumplings, however, were well-received.
Customers have also raved about the restaurant's jerk chicken, which is considered the best outside of Jamaica, as well as the candied yams, rice and peas, and sweet plantains. The overall atmosphere is described as feeling like a Caribbean island, with a wonderful staff and delicious, authentic food.
