“This is a small business that makes you feel at home even from different ethnicity. We are a fmaily of 7 and accomodated us very well. My kids are extremely picky and 3 of them chose the chicken tacos and loved them! One had the quesadilla and he is the most picky he ate some and took the rest for the next day. I am very picky with Mexican authentic food but this surpass all the restaurants I have been to in PA (I live in PA)! Al Azar plate was awesome and my baby is not one to eat much and she was eating the rice. My husband had the Caldo beef. To my surprise that was the most tasty soup I have tasted and the 1st Mexican soup I have tasted! The horchata was out of this world good! Will definitely go back again! I told the server that my son had a shellfish allergy and respected that! I bet the rest of the dishes are just as good!Parking: It’s a small location with parking. But that is enough for us!Kid-friendliness: My kids were excited! The decorations made them so happy! The food was great! Respected my child’s allergies!“

“The vibe is amazing as soon as you walk in. Staff is friendly to the T. Food's worth what you pay for, 8/10 in taste. Me and my girl go for dinner, a quick session at the bar or something to go. Overall, I vouch for Johnny's. No pictures because I'll be back.“

“I’m addicted! The menu is simple, the food is flavorful and well presented. Service is wonderful and great value. Casual setting with beach-y/food truck vibes vs a restaurant-proper. I suspect that this place would have a lot more foot traffic if it were in town near Bloomfield Ave or Watchung, but I’m happy to have it so nearby in Upper Montclair, and I hope they are a long-standing fixture here (have seen a few places coke and go in this spot). The food here stands out miles ahead of a couple of nearby Mexican options, albeit smaller menu.“

“Passing through Cranford and felt the itch for good Tex-Mex. Follow the reviews on Yelp and parked across the street in convenient parking. The weather was nice today but, we decided to eat indoor. The place was exceptionally clean with a pleasant atmosphere. We ordered and were quickly served with some of the best dishes we've had in a while. The food was prepared and presented in an exceptional way. Judge for yourself on these pictures. Stop by and enjoy. I loved the Salsa Verde on my strip tacos!“

“Such a cute spot! I love the decor and the service is great. The tacos are freshly made and taste like they’re made with quality ingredients. The green and red salsas are soooo good!I also really loved the mint lemonade. My only gripe, is I wish they served the tacos with lime instead of lemon and I wish the birria meat and consommé had more robust flavor, but they were still good!“

“A fun place to visit with friends or a date night. They decorated the place for Valentine's Day and even folded the napkins into hearts. The first time I came was for the drinks so we just sat at the bar and ordered chips and guac. It was really good so we came back months later to try their actual food. The steak on the stone was cool because you got to cook it exactly to your liking. The plantains were good. I wasn't a huge fan of the green salsa, as it was bland. I would have just stuck to the original. For the dessert we tried the churros, dulce de leches and the brownie and ice cream. The brownie is a very very small portion but it is also rich and decadant. I would probably recommend putting it on a smaller plate presentation wise. I think I liked the churros the best which had two dipping sauces. Drinks were fun and delicious too.“

“Spoke with a owner today and had to tell her that one of her employees is always outstanding with service and goes beyond even when they are about to close. I know the owner told me the girls name but im going to spell it wrong but Andrea thank you for being pleasant. I noticed there was no more salsa out and asked her if there wasn't any i wouldn't buy that night and I'll come back another day because i knew they were closing and i know the hustle and bustle of that. Usually ppl say no and go about what they were doing but not her she looked in the back, front and said i have some gave me a cup and i was on my way. “I read the reviews online and went there based on their ratings. I was expecting a nice little sit down restaurant but this is actually more of a takeout place. They do have a few tables so we did eat in there. The food was fresh. I wasn't thrilled with the flavors. I got fish tacos and really the only thing I could taste was the cabbage. The guacamole and chips were very good and fresh. I probably won't go back. The people there are extraordinarily nice“

“Stopped by this local dot because I was HUNGRY! Lol. Also needed to get something before heading to my next appointment. I walked in and although the place was empty, the employee at the front was patient, helpful and friendly. I liked the decor and cleanliness of the establishment. You could tell they worked hard to keep this casual spot warm and inviting. Down to the flower vases on each table. I ordered the pupusa and chicken tacos. The food was flavorful and ingredients fresh. Even the radishes and cucumbers as garnish was fresh. I'll be back again. I love finding local spots with great food! “I had a meeting earlier in the day and didn't have lunch, so I was looking for something good to eat when I saw Fandango Mexican Grill. I was amazed at the beautiful decor of Mexican art. I was promptly greeted by a very friendly welcoming waitress. Everything on the menu looked great and I had a hard time selecting something, so I asked my waitress to recommend something. She recommended the Carne Asada Burrito. I ordered that and was not disappointed. The burrito was enormous, full of well seasoned steak, cheese and rice. It was so good. I would definitely Fandango Mexican Grill. ?“

“Wifey and I have been talking about going to Fat Fish Taco for eight years - since they opened - but we FINALLY made it last night. And we. Both agreed we were idiots for waiting so long. This place reminded both of us of being in a Jersey shore restaurant - pleasing and simple decor, friendly people, and good food. They were mostly filled when we got there, but we were seated immediately and started looking over the menu. We opened our wine (yep, it's BYOB) and they brought us some glasses. It was pretty tough deciding what to have. First we considered an appetizer and a couple tacos each, but then the table next to us got their nachos and we decided on those and one taco each. We ordered the nachos with chicken, Wifey got the Baja taco and I had the Blackened Sole taco. Man...it was all good. Kudos to the owner, Steve, and the wait staff. The tacos were delicious and everything tasted so fresh. The nachos were great too, though I would have liked more chicken on them. The chips tasted fresh and everything on top was just amazing. We finished off the evening with a slice of Key Lime pie with two spoons. It's not a stretch to say this is the best Key Lime pie I've ever eaten...anywhere. Could not have asked for a better meal...as Wifey said, it was an "Unexpected Delight. Took us 8 years to finally come here...won't be 8 years til our next visit, that's for sure. Worth every penny.“

“Went here for dinner tonight the first time. Food was absolutely amazing. Stephanie was our host/server and she was fantastic at recommendations. Food was delicious. Will definitely make this my new Spanish go to restaurant. The Salvadorian Chicken Tamale was moist and dense, and the flavors mixed perfectly together. If you order the beef empanadas, ask them for their new homemade hot sauce. It's a perfect blend of sweet & heat to go with the pastry dough. Their plantains were a good addition of sweet to the dense of the meal. Their flan was the perfect size for a nice ending dessert to a very filling meal. Definitely a highly recommended place to get an excellent and very affordable meal.“

“My friend and I got together for some good Mexican food. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted by the host/server and sat. It was a dimly lit restaurant. I started with the red sangria, and that was tasty. I was a little disappointed because they had no red wine for my next drink, so stuck with the sangria. For my appetizer, I got the camarones scampi, but it was a garlic shrimp, and it was tasty. My friend had the fiesta platter and I tried it and it was good. We then had the shrimp tacos, which were delicious! For my meal, I got the red snapper, and my friend had the garlic shrimp dish. I really enjoyed the red snapper, and my friend enjoyed the shrimp. We then had the dulce de leche cheesecake, which was good. We really had a good experience!“

“I have no idea what everyone is complaining about. If you don't like the customer service or the attitude of the employees, then stop spoiling your children and have them work a service job. Notice how all the employees are older, do you want to work at Wholefoods when you are trying to pay rent and raise children? Are you going to smile when some pompous, spoiled, self-righteous, petulant, vapid, egotistical "work-from-home" type slams a pile of groceries that cost more than your rent on the conveyor? You have virtue signaling signs all in your yard that proclaim circular nonsense that helps you sleep at night, and you don't follow what they say. You don't practice what you say. Service? How exactly should they SERVE you? Sounds a lot like something else we abolished along time ago. You vote democrat, you want all your taxes put into programs that have proven not to work. This is the reality you created. You want to send people money for not working. Then don't expect people to work. Especially the way you want them to. If you want change in low wage service industry jobs, then that has to be better than the free money they get for doing nothing. It's not rocket science. Personally I love this Whole Foods. I know what I'm getting when I go here. It helps me educate my children as well. On eating healthy and the basics of economics and labor/worker happiness. Now go complain about your hardworking husbands that pay your way through life or your "horrible" finances job that gives you 10x a livable wage so you can vote for some brain dead politician that leaves office with 10s of millions pilfering the hardworking tax payers.“
