My wife and I were down in Ventnor intending to go to Oceancrat for dinner. When we pulled up we discovered a restaurant in its place, Drift. We checked the menu out and decided to have dinner there. It was a very nice surprise because the food was excellent. My wife had the surf and turf and I had the salmon. Everything was delicious and our waitress was very friendly and responsive. We will definitely be back!

The food was, at best, of average taste with high, comparable prices. The delicate taste of the clams was overshadowed by the heavy buttery and heavy garlic sauce. The calamari were too thinly cut for the fryer and too heavily battered. The sauce was too heavy on the garlic while lacking acid. The burger was well cooked and seasoned and worth its $19-price. The three plates totaled $57+ before taxes.

This was my 2nd dinner at Drift and once again, food was delicious! We had the tuna app, calamari, snow crab legs, flounder, branzino and cheesecake. Everything was cooked to perfection! Owner and chef was hands on - greeted us and made sure all was good. Portions were spot on and we left with full tummies and looking forward to trying new dishes the next time we are in town.
