I gave them a 3 star on the food because it’s always pretty fresh when they get it right, but their soda is always out for the most popular drinks and their service is so unbelievably slow. Today my wife waited 48 minutes at the drive through because they are “short staffed” but it’s always like this. It’s poor planning and execution and a lack of hiring enough during the expected busy seasons. This area is a tourist attraction and they should know their traffic flow by now.

If you’re looking for a fast-food nightmare, the Taco Bell in Vernon, NJ, is the place to go, where I ordered one simple combo and waited 45 minutes while the kitchen staff prioritized smoking out back over doing their jobs, and the drive-thru guy was so incompetent he couldn’t understand basic English—not a language barrier, just sheer stupidity, paired with a slow-moving, unenthusiastic employee who looked like he might collapse at any moment, only to finally get my pitifully skimpy food with spit in it, marking yet another messed-up order from this location that’s left me fed up with their pathetic “sorry, here’s a taco coupon” apologies when I deserve a one-year pass for enduring their constant incompetence, all while the lobby reeked like a sewer because some genius used the same rag to clean the bathroom and the seating area, nearly making me puke, so do yourself a favor and avoid this dump at all costs—your stomach and sanity will thank you.

Waited in the drive thru for a total 18 minutes, only one car at the window in front of me after I finished ordering. They were blasting music. After a while I started to get a strong weed smell and decided to bail on the food I just paid for, Just as I was about to drive away she popped up at the window with my bag. I only order two tacos, they were so soggy and sloppy I was too grossed out to eat it. I don’t understand what they’re doing in there.

AWFUL! Waited 20 mins at the drive thru and then was made to look like we were wrong for asking why it was taking so long with a bit of a push back from the worker. There is zero reason to be at a drive thru window for 20 mins.

0 star if I can the morning staff has to be the worse of them all attitude problems manager on shift should be fired im constantly handed the wrong order or something missing this place has want down hill the last 2 month corporate should get involved.the wait is 20+ minutes why close it down and rehire people with good customer service and speed because this place has none of it.

Actually closes at 11pm. No idea why they say they close at 12. Got there at 11:03, drive through said closed. Tried to use the doors, the lights were on. As soon as I knocked they turned the lights off. Ridiculous.
This has the be the I to taco bell I had truly ever enjoyed, the front man was amazing and the cook did an outstanding job thank you so so so much , 100/10 will do it again. Blessings

I have never given a review in my life but I have to for Taco Bell in Vernon! Terrible and Horrible are an understatement. Third time going thru the drive through around 10/1030pm to be told “sorry we are closed” (suppose to be open until 12am) AND THIS IS THE BEST ONE “Can you come back in 45 minutes, we have 30 orders ahead of you and we can’t take an order right now” 🤣 gotta laugh! I would have rather them just say they are closed than give that bs. To the manager, you are a disgrace! It clearly is a free for all here and you need to be let go asap. Such a shame.

Went late while inside was closed… Took almost 10 minutes for my food. Food was terrible and they never gave me my debit card back. Phone number doesn’t work so i can’t even contact them to get it back.

This has to be the most inefficient fast food restaurant in the state. Its honestly surprising a place is even able to operate like this. It seems like they try to be this bad. RIDICULOUS wait times in the drive through. Orders are consistently wrong. You can ask for sauce 3 times and still wont get any. If you order food for pickup, and select the option to go inside and grab it, if it's after 8PM they lock the doors and you're forced to sit in the drive through. Dont ever waste your time with this place
