We finally got to the Parkside Social today and I am blown away! I’m so happy! The food choices were excellent and I liked the choice of adding chicken or shrimp. I had the hand cut pasta with shrimp and buratta and it was exquisite! The see-through thin sheets of carrots and zucchini leant flavor and texture and were a brilliant addition to the delicious pasta. We were regulars at Ariane's and were very, very, sad to see it go. So we were looking forward to trying it now that it has changed hands and name.
I liked the decor. It reminded me of a hunting/ski lodge. Service was wonderful all around. The food from appetizers to mains to dessert was very good! We loved everything. Based on the reviews, The Parkside Social is a great local spot with a very chill atmosphere, especially during weekday evenings. The food is fantastic, with specific meals like chicken francese, filet mignon, rigatoni vodka, pepperoni flatbread, buffalo wings, cauliflower bites, fried pickles, Brussel sprouts, and sugar donuts receiving high praise. The standout appetizer is the prosciutto and burrata, and the donuts are a favorite treat. Festive seasonal drinks and cocktails are also a highlight, with the bartenders making consistently amazing drinks. The staff is really nice, accommodating, and attentive. The service is very timely, and the owner comes by to say hi. There isn't much parking for guests available, but there is plenty of street parking. The pricing is more than average, but it is worth a try.
