My wife & I went for dinner last night. Last time we were there was in '22. Our server Emma was tip top! Very sweet too! We both had the burgers with truffle fries and Docs hard cider. The burgers were large, juicy, & delicious! I mean REALLY good! The truffle fries were perfect. You can't beat an ice cold Docs cider either! Loved the bartender on Friday night, welcomed us as soon as we set down at the bar and it wasn’t very busy. Before we left the bar was packed but his attention to us never wavered. We shared the burger and it was cooked just as we ordered. Great spirit collection and enjoyed a new Japanese whiskey. Loved that even though it got crowded we could still carry a conversation. Parkside is a great neighborhood bar and kitchen. It has great ambiance without being too pretentious or too bar cliche and the service is great. I came for dinner and had a great meal. The menu is the perfect size so you don’t have to debate over too many options, but enough choices for anyone. If there is no parking on Bloomfield Ave, South Prospect is a good option right at the light for easy crossing.
