I have visited this restaurant numerous times & the service has always been great. Today I took a friend there for a special occasion & the service was one of the worst I have ever experienced. The waitress was rude, uncooperative, and spoke to me in a condescending way! I was surprised by her actions! What was supposed to be a happy outing turned into a day of disappointment. My friend could not believe that I had taken her here for the special day. The rudeness spilled over to the hostess as we were leaving & paying our bill. If you don’t want to be around people then you should not be in the service area! Learn how to treat people properly. You never know the reason for their visit & your hospitality could make the difference in their day. I will never recommend your restaurant again or attend your restaurant to celebrate a special day.
The black olive served me a moldy rotten meal. Do not order from here

Service is HORRIBLE. Food is mediocre at best. But service is really bad. If you go expect to ne there fpr a long meal, if they bring it out. They screwed up my meal, after waiting for 25 minutes.

I’m not from the area, but I have family in Vineland who suggested we try Black Olive for an early Saturday dinner great recommendation. The inside has a simple, classic pizzeria-style setup, but don’t let that fool you. The people running this place clearly know how to run a restaurant.
We started with a pizza for the table, and it was fantastic easily one of the highlights. Everyone was still hungry, so we ordered dinners as well. My wife and daughter decided to split the eggplant Parmesan, which was absolutely huge. Without us even asking, the staff brought it out already split on two plates.. a small detail, but it shows how thoughtful and service-oriented they are.
All the food we ordered was excellent, and the service was truly 10 out of 10 from start to finish. You can tell they take pride in what they do.
If you’re in the area, this is definitely a spot worth visiting. They’re doing everything right here. Highly recommended.

My mom and I made a 4:00 reservation for Thanksgiving dinner. We arrived exactly at 4 and we're immediately seated at a cozy corner booth. Our waiter (Ali, I think?) was very quick to welcome us and take our drink orders. He shortly arrived with our soft drinks, soup, salad, and complimentary bread service. Soft, warm garlic breadsticks with dipping oil. (Puts OG breadsticks to shame.) If you're not a fan of garlic, you might not enjoy the bread, but I loved it. My mom really liked her cream of turkey & rice soup, and I enjoyed my salad.
We both had the turkey dinner. There was nothing spectacular, but everything was fresh, hot and tasty, and the portions generous. It took about 20 minutes to receive our meals.
We got dessert to-go. My carrot cake is in the frig, so I can't comment on it. Overall, Black Olive was once again, a great choice for dinner. The place was packed! I'm happy to see this restaurant doing so well. They really do put in the effort. 👍🏾

Its okay, but not amazing.
I was looking for a place for breakfast, haven't been to Black Olive in about 10 years so decided to have breakfast here. Horrible, blan, plain food. I had scrambled eggs and hash browns/potatoes and a pancake. I understand restaurants can't use a lot of salt when preparing food but they need to add some kind of flavor to the eggs and potatoes. I was looking forward to eating the pancake since it was really fluffy but when I cut into it, it was a yellowish color and had a strange sweetness flavor to it, could barely eat half of it. There was no amount of salt and pepper I could have added to this food
