It's one of the few family owned high class restaurants in the area. Food is worth every penny and good service. Nice place for taking your girlfriend or wife to celebrate anniversaries or having a family dinner but space can be limited depending on time.
Food is good. Atmosphere is good service is excellent. But my problem is with the bread. I was in that industry for 40 years and my big quirk is the bread. Their bread has a little to be desired. I think that it is a food service frozen bread. Bread that comes in fresh from a bakery directly is always better
Everything about the experience there was outstanding!! Food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Service was the best I have encountered. Didn't have to ask for refills at all, was constantly provided and the atmosphere was incredible.
I haven't left a review for here in 9yrs. We've been coming here since 1986, and so much has changed and so much hasn't. Menu is almost the same but the quality of food has slipped for us in the last year. Tonight's dinner was a stuffed lobster tail husband had stuffed shrimp. Great sized tail with a Good amount of crab. They broiled the tail first and severely overcooked it, it was very dry and it had fresh garlic which burned and became bitter. Tons of salt on the tail and in the crabmeat topping. We were asked if we wanted to return it but I wasn't going to have my husband sit there and wait for his food to be cold. I ate three pieces of lobster, tried to scrape the salty top of the crab and eat the inside. Didn't work out too well so I just ate my sides. I felt husbands shrimp were also Over salted. Service is always great here so we tip accordingly. Now as to going back anytime soon, idk. It's very expensive and food is no longer consistent as it used to be. The cook needs to be retrained or fired. They no longer give the little Andes mints and they don't have the cream cheese and toasts on the bar any longer. Things like this made them special. If they keep this up they won't last.

Maplewood 3 is the best place to celebrate a special occasion. They have the best food. The atmosphere is great. Our server Eddie is the best I have ever had. Kenny the owner is always around and stops and says hello. He also asks how everything is, that is old school. It is greatly appreciated. Please try them and you will not be disappointed.

Dined-in with my wife for a date night. Our server Eddie was very attentive and did not rush us. The appetizers, soup, and salad were all delicious. The entrees were fairly portioned. Overall, great experience.

Once again a delicious meal with excellent service. Our party of six was seated promptly, and greeted by Eddie, our server.The variety of menu items offered many selections for our discerning group. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and dessert and coffee.
Service was excellent and the food was delicious! Maplewood 111 doesn't skimp on portions whether it's lobster or pasta, and the sides are just as good as the main course. We can't wait to go back!

The Maplewood is one of our favorite places to have a great meal and we had another great meal. We always start with the clams casino which are always delicious and is a favorite of ours. From the hostess to our server Patty they are attentive to detail and ensuring you have an excellent experience.
