Love the Landis. It's been a great run with Ray, the most recent owner. The Landis as we know it is closed. The owner and its following, didnt want it to close. Don't let local officials pretend that it's temporarily closed for renovation. I guess maybe it's partially true but it's misleading. What it will become is unknown to me.....
Overall a nice venue. However from what I gathered this place has a limited time to exist, it sounded like they will be demolishing it in the not to far future. Which is a shame as it's a very nice historic building. I hope they are able to save it. We saw Brain Damage a Pink Floyd tribute band, great show.
I love this venue! Super-comfy seats, small enough to feel more intimate, they have really good cover bands throughout the year, and a solid sound system. Parking is easy, also, and there's plenty of it. I hope this place doesn't ever close down, but I heard it's supposed to 😞.
