We love Akira. It is by far one of our favorite sushi places. They have so many menu options too. The service is always great. The food is always awesome. You just can’t go wrong at Akira. Highly recommend!

The staff couldn't be more Fantastic- friendly entertaining and accommodating. The Hibachi was hibachi tasted as you'd expect. Got some sushi which i was a little nervous about given us being in the middle of nowhere New Jersey HOWEVER looking at other patrons dishes on the walk in gave me the courage to give it a shot and sure enough was fresh , delicious , cut properly (very underrated important aspect) and well- prepared.

Terrible customer service. After ordering $130 with if food Sent me the wrong items. Sushi for 2 rather than sashimi. Had guests over.wanted us to give back the sushi despite waiting an hour for dinner and didn't want to otherwise correct their error. Not sure what they were planning to do with the sushi ( hopefully not give it to another customer). We allowed our guests to start eating so I said no. I've been ordering here since opening- not anymore

I wish I could give 0 stars. Got sushi and it smelled like rotten fish I've had sushi for years all over and I've never seen sushi smell like that. There is no way that was remotely fresh. You need to be inspected by the health inspector.
