If you value your time as a delivery driver or your food as a paying customer, avoid this Five Guys location. I had one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had with a manager — Shymaa.

I came in to pick up a large Grubhub order (thirteen items). I confirmed the entire order on my phone in front of the first employee, grabbed the drinks so they wouldn’t spill, and went to my car to secure them. When I returned for the remaining two bags, Shymaa stopped me. Even though the first employee had already seen me confirm the order, she insisted that I confirm it again in front of her. I explained it was impossible to swipe it twice, but offered to have Grubhub verify. Grubhub called her directly and confirmed the order was approved. She still canceled it anyway because she personally wanted to grab my phone and confirm it herself.

Let’s be clear — that means Shymaa knowingly canceled a fully confirmed order, ensuring the customer didn’t get their food, delaying service, and creating unnecessary problems. If a manager is willing to do that out of stubbornness or ego, it says everything about how this location is run.

And this isn’t the only problem. Their bagging is careless and unsafe. I’ve delivered from this location before where the bag was so greasy and barely sealed with one flimsy sticker in the middle that wasn’t attaching properly because of all the heat from the food. The sticker was barely sticking moment I picked it up to take it to the customer’s door. This is not only unprofessional, but it leaves food vulnerable to tampering and makes a mess. It’s clear that the manager barely cares about the customer and just wants to create a headache for the driver.

Bottom line — this location doesn’t respect delivery drivers, doesn’t care about customers getting their food intact, and makes it harder for services like Grubhub to do their job. Take your business to another Five Guys or somewhere that values its customers.

it was the worst burger I ever had in my life. I hadn’t been into five guys for years. They are overpriced. A hamburger was $11 and change with the tax. It was overcooked well done no taste at all very expensive for what you get I had to go back and ask him For an onion and he gave me chopped onions. It was the worst hamburger I ever had in my life.

Five guys is good The food is good hot made to order. You order it at the counter and sit down at a table then pick it up when your number is called but it's fairly quick and the food is always hot The fries are great

This particular five guys in farmingdale is very very good. Everyone who works there is very nice and they pay attention to detail, especially when there's allergies. We passed four other five guys restaurants just to get to this one because the staff is so nice the place is very clean and the food is delicious

The customer service was horrendous. I ordered a cheeseburger. The menu did not say it was a double burger, When I mentioned this to the staff, Shapikwa said you can throw one of the burgers away. After I paid almost $13.00 dollars for the cheeseburger(s), they didn't even offer to separate the burgers. They were too busy doing nothing. It was 8:45pm. I threw the whole 2 cheeseburgers away - not what I ordered based on the menu and did not want to deal with the greasy mess. Won't be back any time soon. Btw, when I tried to call to complain, they ignored my calls with a yuan. I have never written a review like this ever even when the food wasn't up to par but this was rudeness and bad customer service.
