AVOID AVOID AVOID! I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough to say something. The service at this Manhattan Bagel location was honestly awful. Staff seemed disorganized and uninterested, and no one acknowledged the growing line for over 20 minutes. I waited nearly 30 minutes for a simple bagel and coffee- no exaggeration.
When I finally got my order, it was wrong and cold. No apology, no effort to fix it, just a shrug. It’s clear there’s a serious lack of management or training here. There are plenty of other spots nearby that value your time and get it right- I won’t be coming back to this one.

Recently, I decided to set up a bagel and coffee morning for my son's daily program, as a thank you to the staff for the yearlong dedication they show. I contacted MB with my request, and the two employees that worked so closely with me were exceptional. They explained the various food bundles to me and helped me with how much I would need to make sure everyone enjoyed a nice breakfast. Speaking with Nestor about the details made my day because he was friendly and helpful. Ashwin assured me that my order would be as we discussed and on time for the morning I chose (24 hour notice was given) I will definitely turn to this MB again when I need to cater in this way. The recipients were delighted and said there was such an array for a bagel mornin! In the bundle I chose, in addition to the bagels and smears, there were pastries orange juice coffee and plentiful fruit platters.

comparable to prepackaged bagels from the grocery store. if you’re from jersey you know that is notttt good. at 8.50 a bagel sandwich too, i expected much better and even the porkroll tasted like canadian bacon. not NJ approved
Unfortunately this place has gone downhill. I’d rather drive to another Manhattan bagel than this spot. Even with the new owners, the service was extremely slow and they got our order wrong. Every time I order a whole wheat everything bagel, they mess it up and give me a regular whole wheat bagel. Listen when people order!! This has happened multiple times. My husband and I used to go there since we live so close but we do not go anymore. The bagel quality is not the same as other Manhattan bagel locations, for some reason these are chewy. For the price, it’s not worth it

For a fresh and flavorful option, the Caprese Toast is fantastic. The creamy mozzarella and balsamic glaze on Texas toast make for a delightful meal. We had a breakfast at Manhattan Bagel during our beach trip with our family, where I tried the BLT and Spinach Bacon Croissant. Both were incredibly fresh and perfectly made- a definite step above other places we've tried. The kids had the Rainbow bagels with cream cheese- they loved it. Manhattan Bagel has become our new favorite spot for both quality food and unique treats. We even tried some free sample drinks. Kids loved it
