I tried this place after discovering it next door to a nail salon I was at. It's a Market/ bar/ restaurant. I was greeted by the hostess on a busy Friday night. There was a pizza bar, but my husband and I sat at a table. The atmosphere was lively and there was a band playing in the market area. The Ranger game was on with other tv's playing other sports as well. We started with the wood fired pizza. Fantastic!!! Then the Romaine wedge, which perfect for sharing. It had 2 large pieces of thick cut bacon and a nice balsamic dressing. We tried several items on the menu. The veal parm was very good. I had chicken marsala and we tasted the braciole. We have been back several times since our first discovery. So far I have not had one disappointing meal. The staff has been very accommodating and the vibe is a mix between date night and a gathering of friends and locals. I would recommend this place for the outstanding menu and attentive staff!! I heard when the weather is nice, there will be outdoor seating. I am excited to continue my culinary journey at Mossuto's Market!

I love attending Mossuto's Market. I have been dining here since I was a child and they have the best Italian food at the Jersey Shore. They are family owned really care about the customer experience. I love to visit.

Stopped in on a Friday evening around 5:30 for dinner. We didn’t have reservations and luckily they had a table available. I would strongly recommend reservations; we happened to get lucky. The atmosphere is an Italian market themed restaurant with several seating areas, bars, authentic brick oven for pizza and wood fired entrees, and a private chefs table dining room. From the minute we walked in and were greeted by the host, we were impressed. The host was super friendly and asked if we had reservations (hint for next time) and told us she had a small table for us or offered bar seating. We opted for the small table. We were shortly visited by our server who was quick to offer us some waters and asked us if we’d like a cocktail or wine. I asked her what bourbons they had and was quite impressed by their selection. As she’d stated they had Angel Envy Bourbon, I asked for a very specific cocktail to see how it would come out and if it was made properly; an Angel Manhattan. This cocktail is a made a certain way with Angel Envy Bourbon, Sweet Vermouth, Angostura Bitters, and a little of Luxardo (or equivalent) original maraschino cherry juice and garnished with the a cherry. The Cocktail was SPOT ON! Then actually have Maraska Cocktail Cherries from Croatia that were even better than the Luxardo. My wife ordered a Moscow Mule and again served properly and made perfectly. Now on to the food! Judging from other reviews, we were expecting a delicious meal and Mossuto’s didn’t disappoint! We definitely over ordered as we were hungry, but at least we had some food to take home. Appetizer, we ordered the Shrimp Scampi appetizer, the Barretta and mortadella appetizer, a wood fired pizza with shrimp and fresh potato crochets. Besides the shrimp being super fresh, this establishment should be described as a scratch kitchen; everything was made from scratch and super fresh! The buratta and mortadella I could eat every day! It was amazing and I highly recommend it. The pizza was arguably the best brick oven pizza I’ve ever had and the crust was light, but crispy and full of flavor. The authentic brick oven definitely adds to the flavor and texture of this. The shrimp you can the is fresh, not the frozen shrimp from over seas that you get in the supermarkets or restaurants depot, this was obviously fresh shrimp. This carried through from the topping on the pizza to the scampi that was served in an earthenware baking dish that was finished in the brick oven! The fresh potato crochets were amazingly delicious that you can tell were made from scratch and cooked perfectly. For dinner entrees, our server presented us with several delicious options for specials, so we picked a few items, some from the normal menu and the specials. We opted for the Chicken Parmesan with pasta, the pork chop, and the prime rib special. All I can say is that this place is legit! The chicken parm was obviously pan fried and not just chucked in a deep fryer like a pizzeria, the pasta that accompanied the dish was cooked perfectly; al dente. The Prime rib was delicious; I will say it was the best I ever had, hands down. I actually can’t think of another prime rib that would come close. Super tender, amazing crust, cooked perfectly, and paired with some mashed potatoes and au jus! Stick a fork in me because I was done after eating 1/2 of it! Had the other half the following morning with eggs and had to take a nap after! The pork chop with the vegetables and potatoes off the regular menu is a MUST. That will be my next go-to menu item. It was super moist, tender and the vegetables were mouth watering! I highly recommend this dish.Unfortunately we couldn’t stay for dessert as we were stuffed and over ate. But next time I’ll keep in mind that the portion are a good size and maybe consider splitting apps and saving room for dessert.Italian Scratch Kitchen; that’s what comes to mind when I reflect on our dining experience at Mossuto’s! Old school cooking with modern Italian cuisine; the best of old and new! Can’t wait to return!Wheelchair accessibility: ADA accessible an

Sat at the bar with the wife on a Saturday night. Brittany did a great job and mixed a mean cosmo. We had the clams oreganata, the broccoli rabe with roasted sausage and cannellini beans and of course, a pizza. In my honest opinion, it's some of the best and authentic double zero pizza in the area. Really fantastic. The roasted sausage was excellent too however, I would skip the clams it's not a traditional baked Clam that we all know and love and that dish is overpriced.. it's definitely a cool little weird place, but the food and drink will be very good..

I ordered chicken parm to go. The chicken was good but the tomato sauce was so watered down and tasted like tomato water. They should really be embarrassed by how oily the sauce was. Barely any pasta. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing or maybe for take out orders they don’t put a lot of energy into.

Bought a garlic bread -so expensive for $26 for a garlic bread with not so good garlic bread. They just put some dash of parmigiana and parleys. Not happy

Disinterested waitress , expensive limited menu, terrible clams oreganata appetizer, bland, tasteless pizza. I won't be back.

We rediscovered Mossuto's after 20 years. Completely utterly amazed at the beautiful bar counters. We didn't know they enclosed the breezeway. We sat under the skylight. Service was amazing. Owner Biagio is delightful! This is definitely are new favorite place. Food was amazing and they were able to accommodate for gluten free. We love the old world charm ambiance with antiques everywhere. Trevor is their new chef! Super excited to return!
