Totally unexpected but this place makes amazing high quality food. The tortillas are hand made, and all the meats are fresh and expertly seasoned. The green and red salsa and the salsa verde that is served with the free tortilla chips are super tasty. Its hard to find such well made food at any restaurant let alone a Mezican place that makes hand crafted tacos like this. Who knew Wanaque would be where you go for amazing tacos?!
I stopped there for lunch with my brother. I had the birria tacos and he had the Quesa tacos. The lady made chips fresh to serve. They were still warm and delicious perfectly salted. The tacos were amazing filled us both completely. My brother even took two home will be returning five out of five stars.
I found this place by random chance and I am so happy I did! The food is all homemade (even the tortillas!) and everything I tried was excellent. The regular tacos are packed with protein. If you are working out, this is the place for you! I took home some crunchy tacos as well, and they were still crunchy later on that day. The owners are pleasant and answered all my questions before I ordered. I will not hesitate to come back. The food and the experience are authentic.
