Went in for dinner and walked out so disappointed. We had simple orders 2 kid meals along with two adult sandwiches. Now we are home with one of our family member sick nauseous from chicken they had. . It took over 45 mins to get our food that came out cold. I never leave bad reviews however paying over 65.00 for what we had tonight was absolutely ridiculous. Our waitress acted like we were non existent then if she had to come over it was like we were inconveniencing her. I could see if they were busy but the restaurant was not busy besides the walk-ins and pick ups.

Randomly stopped in one evening. They had whatever slices were left (as expected). I got 1 pep and 1 sausage Togo. Pizza was great! People were very nice. I feel so bad to see these BS reviews hammering this place!!!! MAYBE dont order seafood from a pizza shop for your husbands birthday ( unless you like your boyfriend more 🤷‍♂️ then it was a great way to show your husband how you feel ) ! Esp being “a professionally trained chef” one would think you would have more knowledge of the food industry and what to expect. Anyway I was shopping at achme and was hungry for pizza. I decided to try brothers pizza and I was very happy I did !!!! Pizza is amazing ! Service is amazing !!! I paid cash ……. I had no issues ! Lady at register was very polite and warm! In my opinion, this is a family owned business, one of the few great ones that need to be cherished and appreciated!! I suggest the upset reviewer and her husband try “blu point “ or something comparable on future birthdays !!!! BROTHERS PIZZA MAKES GREAT PIZZA AND ITALIAN DISHES !!!!! It is not called brothers pizza and fresh seafood !!! 🤭🤯😳

The pizza is excellent, the only thing is that the dining room was very small.

My family and I have been going to Brothers for years and we've never had a bad meal. The food is tasty and hot. My husband and I are convinced that there isn't one bad item on the menu. Even our daughter with ARFID loves Brothers and she started liking pizza because of Brothers. Also, thank you for keeping our zeppoli cravings happy!

Ok place for a middle of the road slice in my opinion. Nicely stretched pie, generally alittle too done for my liking which can lead to a bit of burnt flour taste sometimes. Other people that's right up their alley. Just a plain pie on its own can be underwhelming on the flavor but their toppings and specialty pies are good. On the occasion I get delivery it's been on time or ahead of schedule. Never have I had any entrees so no idea how they are. Overall decent spot to grab a slice but don't expect them to pop up on "NJs Top 10 Pizzerias" list any time soon.

The first issue here is your blatant denial of the facts presented in my wife's review. Let me make it crystal clear the food was exactly as described, and we have no reason to fabricate anything. If the calamari “wasn’t sent out like that,” then who exactly is responsible? Are you implying that we tampered with it ourselves? That’s both insulting and absurd. The moment we pulled the calamari out of the brown paper bag, we called you immediately. There was no delay, no embellishment, just a simple recounting of what we received.

Your response is a textbook example of gaslighting, attempting to deflect blame onto us instead of owning up to the issue. Offering to redo the calamari is not the solution when the problem is your restaurant’s consistent failure to deliver quality food. Why would we trust you to make it right when this is the third time you’ve let us down? Let’s revisit the history:

The first time we ordered, the pasta and clams were salty they were inedible.

The second time, the buffalo chicken wings arrived completely unseasoned... no flavor, no effort, just dumped in a fryer.

And now, this time, the calamari was overcooked, rubbery, burnt, and completely dried out.

AND just be glad that we only mentioned the calamari, because the pizza was cold but that's not the focus here.

How, exactly, are we the problem here? We gave you three chances, more than most people would.

To address your other claims, we did not yell at any point. Were we annoyed? Absolutely, but our frustration was expressed respectfully. Additionally, your claim that my wife hung up on you is completely false. Both parties said “have a great night” before ending the call. Misrepresenting the situation in your response is not only dishonest but incredibly unprofessional.

Instead of making excuses and turning this back on the customer, perhaps you should focus on fixing the systemic issues in your kitchen. It’s clear there are major problems with your back-of-house operations. Consider implementing proper pre-meal preparation (mise en place) and training your cooks to execute dishes with consistency and care. Until those issues are addressed, you’ll continue to disappoint customers like us.

We gave you the opportunity to make things right through constructive criticism, but instead, you chose to lie, deflect, and gaslight. That’s on you. And no, we don’t have to worry about finding the “perfect” place because that certainly won’t be a problem.

We decided to order from Brothers Pizza & Italian Restaurant tonight to celebrate my husband’s birthday, hoping for a relaxing night in with good food. What we received, however, was beyond unacceptable. The calamari we ordered was burned to a crisp, had no breading, and was extremely rubbery and overcooked. The smell alone was nauseating, and the texture was so dried out it was inedible. It’s outrageous that this dish ever left the kitchen in this condition.

As a professionally trained chef, I understand what quality food should look and taste like, and this was an embarrassment. Not only was it poorly prepared, but the carelessness was glaring. This wasn’t a slight mistake, it was negligence. To make matters worse, this isn’t the first time we’ve been let down by this restaurant. This is our THIRD attempt to give them the benefit of the doubt, and each time the food has been insipid, poorly executed, and downright disgusting. We’ve tried to handle it with grace, but enough is enough.

When we called to request a refund, we were informed that because we ordered online through a third-party platform, we’d have to “jump through hoops” to get our money back. The restaurant, apparently, can’t do anything to fix their own mistakes. This lack of accountability is appalling. It adds insult to injury to not only receive inedible food but to also be told there’s no immediate resolution.

To anyone considering ordering from here: think twice. I’m literally sick to my stomach from the experience, both figuratively and literally. This kind of poor service and subpar food preparation shouldn’t be tolerated. Restaurants should hold themselves to higher standards, especially when it comes to food safety and quality. Tonight, Brothers Pizza & Italian Restaurant failed miserably on both counts.

I sincerely hope management takes this review seriously and reconsiders their approach to food quality and customer service. This was a complete disaster, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered through slice. Was told 40 minutes for chicken fingers and one cheese pie. Arrived a few minutes early and was told it’ll be a couple minutes for the pie. Turns out they forgot to make it. Received the food after an hour from original order time. Chicken fingers/fries were cold and the pie was undercooked. Was offered a free soda AFTER I already paid for a soda. Contacted slice and was told the restaurant couldn’t offer any discounts. Awful experience all around.

So, they’re supposedly open til 10pm. I went in around 9:15-9:30 and there was nothing left food wise aside from a few old slices that were obviously going into the garbage if they didn’t sell. They didn’t want to make a fresh pie. Basically I felt like I was intruding. Terrible indifferent and uninterested staff there. If you’re open til 10 then make sure all foods are available at 10. Don’t start cleaning up at 9 then make customers feel stupid for coming in after 9. Why not just close at 9 like all the other pizzerias in the area. Don’t say you are open til 10 if there isn’t going to be anything available to eat. Maybe get some employees that don’t mind doing their jobs. Frank’s is much better anyway.

Once again the hubs brought REAL pizza back home to PA! The selection of specialty pizza slices is absolutely insane, the garlic knots are the size of your head, and the rice balls are absolutely phenomenal. Love when he stops and today we FaceTime’d and I got to pick my own slices!!!

I am born and raised in Brooklyn, and I do consider myself a pizza snob. Stopped here one day while making a delivery in the area. Ordered a slice. It was delicious. I have now been there about 10 times (and counting) and every time the pizza tasted exactly the same. It's important to be delicious, but it's just as important to be consistent. I have dealt with three different counter people during my trips and every one of them was very pleasant to deal with. As Arnold would say, "I'll be back".
