Maybe they ran out of supplies that night?? The burger itself tasted good w the cheese so Ill give them that, but they're slackers, and my rating reflects that.

Cow Patty’s in Vernon, NJ is an absolute hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. I’ve been to plenty of burger spots, but this place really stands out.
The burgers are hands-down amazing. I love that they offer Certified Angus Flame Grilled Burgers, and the “Build a Burger” option is perfect for customizing exactly how you like it. The toppings and sauces are fresh and flavorful—chipotle mayo, hickory BBQ, and mango habanero are just a few of my favorites.
Their signature burgers are just as incredible. The Pineapple Jalapeño Burger is the perfect mix of sweet and spicy, and the BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger is loaded with flavor and the perfect comfort food. The sides are great too—I highly recommend the sweet potato fries and fried pickles.
The location is clean and modern, making it a great spot to grab a casual meal or just hang out with friends. The food always comes out hot and fresh, and the portions are generous.
I’ve been coming here for a while now, and it never disappoints. If you’re in Vernon or just passing through, Cow Patty’s is a must-visit for anyone who loves high-quality, delicious burgers. I’ll definitely be back again and again!

OMG the burgers here were out of this world. !!! Popped here after going to a few events in the area, and this was a great spot. The specialty burgers were delicious, well portioned and well priced too. The Mac and cheese was out of this world and the service was super fast. This was a great stop in our travels, next time im over that way I will be back!!

I stayed down the road at the motel and the service and atmosphere was legendary. This reminded me of a small town burger joint and it was just that. Kathleen took care of us and went above and beyond. She even overheard me contemplating getting a shake.

The inside and outside of this place were beautifully styled — it actually reminded me of Texas and an old western show. The food was hittin’! I was craving a burger with gluten-free buns, and it really hit the spot. The service from Kathy and Kimberly was excellent too! When I’m back in the area, I’ll definitely be visiting again.
This is a good and convenient place to stop for a bite to eat. The employees are always kind. The food is good. I love the little basket that they use for the fries when you dine in. They also have an array of food choices from alligator bites to brisket. I would definitely suggest it to anyone in the area looking for somewhere to eat.

Absolutely delicious!! Stopped here while I’m traveling on the road and just completely devoured their Black Currant Gourmet Burger. I got mine on a GF bun (which was thankfully no extra charge 🥹) and the brand that they used for it was sturdy and tasty. I asked for my burger to be medium rare and it was cooked exactly as requested throughout the entire burger, which the patty itself was quite large. They were generous with toppings and the goat cheese on top was as fresh as can be. Wish I lived closer to try some of their other flavors, but I will try and return another time if I’m in the area 🍔

The food and service here is excellent. I would recommend the burgers and the pizza cheese steak. The service is excellent. However, I do not appreciate the political stance of the place. I do not think that places of business should show their politics. I love the food here but will not return because of the political beliefs.
