Yamato Hibachi Steakhouse has really up'd its game. Came for dinner tonight and the Hibachi Chef Jackie madr balloon animals and really interacted with the whole family. 5 stars! They have the same reasonable prices they have always had, but the service has really improved. If you need a special family outing this is an amazing hidden gem in Sussex County. Remember to ask for Jackie as your Hibachi Chef!

The shrimp tempora roll was good the pork katsu was grizzly and the bread crumbs didn't stay on service is slow cold and impersonal we will go elsewhere nxt time

I ordered chicken lomein and orange chicken for my son. Food was tasty until I found a bug in my lomein. I called the waiter over and showed him the bug I put to the side of my plate. He picked it up with his fingers looked at it and said maybe in came from the noodles. I was so disgusted. He went to the kitchen to let them know. He came back apologized and said no charge. I barely ate my meal. I told him I'm done and left. I will never go back.

Bonnie is a wonderful hostess and just love this place, the food is the best Japanese we've had. Highly recommended. Have gone there for lunch many times now, and consistently excellent.
