Beautiful view of the Bay. Wonderful owner Alenny who interacts with customers without the least bit being intrusive.
She truly has a remarkable place ❤️.
Note , feel free to bring an alcoholic beverage as it's a BYOB. You do not have to stick with wine or beer, bring rum or vodka for example to drop into a mocktail.

What a fantastic restaurant! Great island feel right at the Jersey shore. Awesome food and great staff. A definite must. And don't forget to BYOB or not. Enjoy the vibe.
Maybe the summer is better, but my husband & I went twice this week & walked out on the second visit, which was advertised as "Cuban Night". When we arrived once again, there were very few customers, but we had to wait 30 minutes for a server to come and take our order.
This is not what we want in Waretown!

Based on the reviews, Caribbean Petes offers amazing atmosphere and great food with Florida vibes in New Jersey. The setting is beautiful, overlooking the bay and Old Barney, with a view that is amazing. The food is delicious and plentiful, with specific meals like tender braised short ribs, shrimp tacos, the burguer, wings, and creamy mashed potatoes. The jerk wings are the best in the area, and the house sauces and seasonal fries are really good. The key lime pie is a must-try. The service is on point, and the owners are very welcoming, chill, and care deeply about the quality of the food and service. This BYOB spot is a hidden gem, perfect for events or a casual meal. The food is packaged very well for transport and stays hot. It is worth the drive, even for those who do not live close by.
