I love their turkey sub (tasty and lots of meat) and their fish fry (fresh and crispy) but after that it gets mediocre. I have tried the chicken sandwich (twice) which is always dry and their burgers are okay. The people at the counter are very friendly but I have gotten home more than once with wrong sandwich or toppings. Find the sandwich you like and you will keep coming back.
Do you know why you should always support local? Because these businesses go beyond what corporate chains can do. 1. You can meet and chat with ownership and Harold was quite friendly. 2. They're open when others aren't. After a long Easter Sunday bike ride, I was stunned to see them open. The PEC (Pork Roll Egg n Cheese) was as solid as they come. Soft roll, excellent ratio of 4 thin slices of pork roll, 2 eggs (over medium, which I love) and melted but not messy American...
The place was recommended to me try...I had the Italian Super Sub in the 7in. and my mother had the Pastrami and Swiss warmed in a 7in and what served to us lived up to what was told to me about their sandwiches, we were only able to finish half of the sandwich the two ladies running the shop were friendly and personable...definitely worth going back.
