Visited this place on a Saturday morning around 11am looking for soul food near Plainfield. We waited in the front area approximately 20 minutes before anyone came to seat us. Once seated, we waited yet another 15 minutes before anyone came to take our order. There were only 4 other tables occupied. (Not super busy.) Once we received our food, it was pleasant. I ordered the Mt. Bethal Classic & lemonade. The chicken wasn't fully cooked, to the point of still slightly bleeding. The lemonade pooch was too sweet. My cousin had the fried shrimp and grits. The grits were delicious. The fried fish wasn't seasoned well. I'm a little upset that they didn't offer a discount or something besides an apology for the raw chicken fiasco. Everything was good and the staff was nice but the chef was a little heavy handed with the salt. Especially on the chicken and biscuits. I felt my blood pressure rise through the roof
