Mr. Pi’s lunch special is a great deal. House roll tastes great. Unfortunately I just ate there and became extremely dizzy 1-2 hours after eating. I think I got scromboid poisoning from left out tuna. I eat sushi every week, this is the first time this has ever happened to me

Can't get fresher sushi this side of Japan. Order from extensive menu or have Mr. Pi create something unique for you. It's incredible stuff!! Whenever I fly into the tri-state area, I make sure to eat at Mr. Pi's. Plus, his lovely staff greets me as if I was a long-lost relative. Oh, now I'm craving it.
We love Mr. Pi's! They have excellent sushi and non-sushi items like ramen and shrimp or chicken with rice. They serve alcohol and various hot and cold sake, and have a bar attached to the dining area that often has live music. The restaurant is family friendly with queit booths towards the back area. The staff is pleasant and efficient. There is plenty of street parking on 3rd Ave and in the public lot at 3rd and Denison. Mr. Pi's also has reasonable takeout sushi platters to bring to outside events.

My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to visit & have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose Mr. Pi's Sushi for Highland Park, our 119th town.
We stopped off after a Rutgers football game for dinner and ordered our regular order of "sushi & sashimi platter". Instead of a combo for two, like at most sushi places, you can only order two one-person platters. That being said, the food was on point! Prompt service and nice casual atmosphere inside.

A business especially a restaurant is made by the people who work there. Who put care into the quality of the food and the overall ambiance. Pi is a very generous person with a good heart. His restaurant serves excellent quality sushi. If you are ever in Highland Park come and visit and taste the freshness and quality of their food.
