I was in search for a new lunch spot and decided on ordering from here. Safe to say, this is my new lunch spot and it has definitely substituted my previous go-to-sushi spot. The sushi was fresh; the rolls were delicious. Lunch- affordable.

Neither the service or the food was the greatest. But this time, we had a surprise, and there was a band playing at the bar very good music.

Great hole in the wall sushi place (if you didn’t enter the restaurant side). The happy hour deals are amazing and the sushi is decent. My only complaint is that I think the avocado rolls should be nice and cool/crisp not warm.
The bartender with blond hair was very nice and sweet! Great to be back in the area.
Mr. Pi's has the best sushi around, and a great atmosphere. The bar has karaoke on some Friday nights (first of the month I think?), which we love! The sashimi platter is very fresh and the cuts are generous.

My husband picked up the sushi for me and noticed it was happy hour after he paid full price for a beer at the bar waiting for our take out order. In this economy you might want to treat your customers right so they can keep coming back because there’s a pretty high sushi competition in this area. He noticed the atmosphere was nice though.
When he got home with the sushi, the sushi was below average. It honestly didn’t feel like it was authentic Japanese sushi. It was sloppy and didn’t look that good. It was our first time and definitely our last. We have plenty of spots with great customer service and better quality sushi. This is our feedback, glad everyone who wrote a five star review had a good experience.

Ordered for a California sushi roll for the first time because of great reviews. But it turned out they did not even partially peel the cucumbers to put in the sushi while the proper preparation is at least to peel it partially. Otherwise it is hard to chew especially when the skin of the cucumber is thick and hard. Not a big deal but it shows careless work with making their sushi or they don’t know how to make sushi in a proper way.

Shrimp tempura hardly had shrimp in it. Maybe the shrimp was cut in 1/8th thin.
VCR Roll was smothered/covered with thick sauce that was very salty. If you are hypertensive, watch out!! You can not taste the roll itself because the sauce over-powered the flavor of the roll.
I use to love Mr. Pi in Warren l, but things have changed.

Mango is the best. Nice drinks, good sushi. They need to do only flat wings.
