The gastropub is through the somerset hotel to the back of the building. The food was absolutely gorgeous! The servers are friendly, the bartenders make great drinks, but the outside service needs a little more attention. Just make sure to check on your tables more frequently, there were times we were often waiting for a waitress to come by to order more drinks.

Not sure why most of the menu items were out by 7pm for a restaurant. Entrees, beers, desserts. Not sure how a restaurant can survive like that especially when its not even busy. Not really an excuse especially when the location is in a hotel. Very disapppointing.
GET THE SALMON........
So let me tell you what happened.
I came into Tap & Bitters in Warren kinda late like, almost closing time late and I ordered something else on the menu. Honestly? I didn’t love it. I was a little frustrated. But here’s the thing: it's not about what went wrong, it's about how you fix it. And wow, did they ever deliver.
I asked if I could switch to the salmon (and trust me, I felt bad for even asking that late), and they said yes. Bless them. What happened next… I wasn’t ready.
I took one bite of that salmon and I swear the heavens opened. I’m not being dramatic (ok yes I am), but it was like an orchestra of flavor just erupted in my mouth. My soul lit up. This wasn’t dinner it was a spiritual awakening.
And here’s the crazy part:
That was three days ago.
I’ve had the salmon every single day since.
It somehow keeps getting better. HOW?
It’s crispy. It’s perfectly seasoned. It’s buttery and flaky. I bit into it and my taste buds taught me how to Dougie. This is how legends are made!
Also:
My daughter had the burger. It’s insane.
The fries? Phenomenal.
The staff? Kind, attentive, and truly made the experience.
But if you take nothing else from this review, take this:
GET. THE. SALMON.
You’re welcome.

The food and drinks were really good! That being said, the service was fairly slow. We were a table of 5 with a reservation, and many who came in after us got their food before us. Supposedly it was because they ordered ahead of time- not sure how that's possible, but ok... They need more waitstaff - I felt bad for our waitress as I think she was the only waitress working that night.
The food was outstanding, the drinks were well made. Service was wonderful! They were friendly to our kids!
Better than expected! The food was delicious. The service was good. The environment was lovely!
Had a delicious. meal. Host and server (same fellow) was wonderful - riendly and efficient.
Great stop on the way home from a flight. Although it was 9:30 PM, we never felt rushed, the food was very good and the service was friendly and attentive.
We are here last night. The room is very nicely decorated with a large bar. I ordered a margarita which tasted off after a sip, I thought it would be fresh. Our server was very nice and let me exchange it for a beer. I had a burger, my husband had the jambalaya . The burger was just OK. The restaurant was empty. My biggest disappointment was when the bill came we were charged for the Margarita- that’s not right. Husband didn’t mention it when we got the bill, but we wouldn’t go back. We loved this place before all of the New Orleans changes. Our server was very nice.

New Year's Eve. We were the only ones there. Very strange situation. Clearing all the tables while we ate. Why were they even taking reservations? Limited menu. Very disappointing.
Overall, an OK experience. Service was good and staff friendly. The food was average. Our table order Steak and Frittes. The Frittes were disappointing. The restaurant suggests that it is Cajun/Creole, but has very few items on the menu to reflect that. There was a band playing on the other side of the bar. Because of the harsh acoustics in the bar, it was hard to have a conversation. Don't plan to go back. Too many other, very good restaurants around.
We had a wonder first time at tap and bitter. It was a quiet Sunday but the staff checked in on us throughout our dinner. We always had water and didn't feel rushed and they gave us time in between courses to relax and enjoy each other company
Relaxed setting, great service and a delicious New Orleans inspired meal. Try the Honey Glazed Brussel Sprouts appetizer and Tap Signature Gumbo for a delicious entree.

Great vibes, solid creole food. Nice hole in the wall kind of place. Definitely recommend.
