Oh boy - walk inside and get a good whiff of the place. then grab a basket. Great Italian specialties and pastries hoagies pizza slices. I have a friend who now lives in Tucson

Aversa's is a great choice for Italian specialties. The strombolis are outstanding, pizza is better than most others, anywhere. Rolls are excellent, maybe the best in the Philly metro area (and therefore the Nation).

Aversa Italian Bakery is always a great stop when you’re craving authentic Italian food. I love their pizza, rice balls, chicken cutlets, and mozzarella sticks — everything is fresh and delicious every time. The bread is always freshly baked and you can really taste the quality. It’s one of those places you can count on for consistently great food. Definitely worth stopping
