Definitely the place to go for fresh oysters!

It was my first time at Chesapeake, and I’ll admit our first impression wasn’t great. There was no one at the front to greet us, we had to look around to be seated, and the hostess didn’t seem very welcoming. Thankfully, the manager stepped in and seated us.

stopped in for dinner while passing through and thought it was pretty decent. the atmosphere is relaxed and casual, with a local neighborhood feel that makes it easy to settle in. food was good overall, especially the seafood, but a couple items felt a little overpriced for the portion size. service was friendly and helpful, though things slowed down once the place got busier. drinks were solid and the menu had enough variety for everyone in our group to find something. overall...

Ugh. I usually love this place !!
But was soooo disappointed by the special seafood boil. The crab legs came out cold and had barely any meat in them and super dry. I don’t think a touch of seasoning came near any of the corn, potatoes, or seafood. The clams and muscles didn’t even pop open which meant they probably were not fresh ! Gosh I hope I don’t get sick from this meal and 55$ such a bummer I wish I could get the money back.
