We love going to Koi restaurant. It has some of the best Chinese food around. The only issue is it's such an amazing restaurant that the service time is very long. The people working there are lovely but they don't have enough people working there to assist with the local dining customers because they are busy filing the online orders. This still doesn't stop us from going here to eat. We just time it accordingly. ❤️
Great old school neighborhood Chinese restaurant at low prices. Classic renditions of standards like wonton soup, fried rice, egg foo young, and shrimp with lobster sauce are all spot on. The servers work their tails off, and they’re lovely, but unfortunately they’re juggling dine-in and takeout and the latter is voluminous. The decor is dated, but I prefer they keep it that way and not raise prices!
We have been ordering take out from Koi for a number of years. Usually the food is very good. However, the last time we ordered a quart of mixed egg drop and wanton soup, it tasted more like water than egg. This is totally unacceptable. I will be ordering from another restaurant in the future.
