I had the pleasure of coming here and meeting one of the owners Dino (Dean) who just made our day and gave us special V.I.P treatment due to the place being open seasonally lol oh boy it was such a sweet gesture after the long day in and out of the car. The Ice cream is homemade along with the people who keep this place running. Will be back mid November!

Stopped by the legendary McCobb’s today (Since 1940 ) for their Texas Weiners. They did not disappoint. The German Schmaltz hot dogs were delicious and had the perfect snap. Their famous tomato based Texas Weiner sauce was the perfect complement and is available jarred to take home. Save room for their delicious homemade ice cream. There is a very pleasant outdoor seating area along the river to enjoy. Check out McCobb’s, you’ll be glad you did!

I’ll give two stars because the food tasted good, but don’t waste your time. Too many good hot dogs in New Jersey to spend a fortune at this place. What a rip off.
Been coming here with my family members since I was a young! The owners are the best! Prices are fair for the great quality of food you receive ! The sauce is the best around! Try the small cheeseburger with Taylor ham and add sauce to it.. you can thank me later .

It's been about 2 years since I've been to this establishment due to an untasteful food experience. Although the place is clean and the outdoor area is great, just as the last time we came the food did not taste good. The hotdogs themselves were ok but the bread, sauce were not. The mac and cheese, cheese fries and gravy the worst we've ever had. We spent $70 and threw out more than half of the food. We were going to get ice cream, but decided not to due to the saddening experience. We always wonder why nobody is there and this could explain it.
We would love this place to be the "go to place" as it's local!

$10 for two scoops of ice cream? I want small businesses to succeed as much as the next guy but this place is prices are outrageous. Walked in grabbed two cones of ice cream with two scoops each cost to me a little over $20. There is a reason why this place is empty compared to other ice cream places nearby. The ice cream doesn't even taste homemade taste like something out of a grocery store. Stay away from the ice cream.

Today I had the opportunity to visit mc cobbs... I passed it like 3 million times throughout my travels and really never popped in . Well today I did.The food was really good the owners were very polite and great to have a conversation with..I will definitely be stopping in more often...

Major rip off .You can go to a restaurant and have a sit down nice meal for what it cost to eat, hotdogs, burgers, and fries here.
Still a fan of their sauce after 60 years. Expensive, but a true one of a kind. A must have. No one else comes within 1/2 the flavor.
