Went here for first time for a group dinner which uses their party menu. Unfortunately it put me off from going back. The food was something out of the 70s, very dated. Of 10 or so dishes the only thing edible was the fried calamari. Mushrooms were swimming in vinegar, shrimp and pasta had an odd taste, mussels were dry, the veal and chicken cutlets in some kind of wine sauce were soggy and tough etc.

Love this restaurant...been here twice and it didn't disappoint! Staff are so genuinely happy and sweet. Portuguese food made exactly like Portugal. Cocktails- perfect dirty martini.

Great traditional restaurant where Spanish/Portuguese food and service are the main point. Very generous portions although the shrimp in my dish were a tad over cooked. Handsome decor with white table cloths etc. You can't go wrong here for a special occasion dinner. I'll be back!

Every time we visit Wayne we make it a point to dine at Villa Verde. Food is always excellent, as it was this time. Some of the items that were just fantastic are the shrimp in garlic, the garlic soup, clams, and lobster. Artie was a great server, very efficient, knowledgeable, and a good sense of humor. The wine list is great, and reasonably priced, we had the Tomassi Amarone, it was so good we had two!
