We went for evening meal after having excellent meal there last year 3 of us ordered the Sunday roast but were told they hadn’t done it for 8 months although it was still on the menu we ordered steaks which were nice but nowhere near as good as last year the bill for the 5 of us was quite large but unlike other similar priced restaurants we weren’t offered shots with the bill we found the staff rather sullen and all in all were disappointed and will not be returning
As always great food and service, we always look forward to coming to Wayne’s. \nLots of talk of huge wait times, we waited 5 minutes for a table & the staff were tentative throughout.
Strip steak on the bone is absolutely phenomenal and can’t be beat! Would not recommend the crabcakes. Partner likes the truffle fries and I liked the sautéed spinach. Definitely go for the steaks! Casual BYO
