Based on the reviews, Garden State Tavern has an excellent atmosphere and a staff that is above and beyond, courteous, and extremely nice. The service is great, with bartenders who are attentive. The food is good and outstanding, with dishes like garlic wings, short rib grilled cheese, pizza, and Tommy’s Cutlet being delicious. The Maple Bourbon cocktail is really good, and there is a great pint of Guinness. The holiday decorations are awesome. The restaurant is amazing for everything from a drink to a party, including a pizza party for kids. Some feedback noted that the cowboy ribeye was tasty but thin and over priced for the cost, and it should have come with a salad. However, the atmosphere, drink prices, and Friday night crowd are above and beyond amazing.
