First place I've found in years that has quality Chinese food like back home, this one blows all the other ones out of the park, I've eating here a couple times now and I've always enjoyed it. Food is always fresh and the general tsos actually has a bit of spice like it's suppose to! Not only is the food great so is the atmosphere of the restaurant, and the people there are very nice as well. New favorite spot!

New China restaurant is a hidden gem in West Deptford! This family owned Chinese food restaurant offers fresh, great tasting food. I have ordered the shrimp egg foo young every week since November 2024 and it is consistently a treat every time. Jing and the Zheng family provide great, friendly, fast service, and the restaurant is very clean and inviting. Try the fresh almond cookies!

Wow! I have been to multiple chinese restaurants but this one is by far my favorite. The dishes are delicious and the customer service is impeccable!! I am so thankful that I stopped by here while visiting family. Next time I come to West Deptford I will definitely be coming again!!!

I conducted an experiment and ordered the same meal from 3 different Chinese restaurants at the same time. (I’m new to the area and wanted to find good Chinese take out quickly. haha!)I ordered general tso combo and wonton soup. The soup was fine, nothing special and probably wouldn’t get again. But the general tso’s was the best of all 3 restaurants! It was a little spicy, lots of chicken and not overly battered, good fried rice, good egg roll.I didn’t have high hopes given other reviews so I was pleasantly surprised! It was also the cheapest of the 3. This will definitely be my usual Chinese spot.Other places I tried were Happy Wok (the worst of the 3 and maybe worst I’ve ever had) and Sakana which was okay but very different than most General Tsos and also $4 more expensive.
