“Great food and drinks. Beautiful place with great views of River and PHL Airport. Watch boats on waterway and planes landing while eating great food. The bar area is very nice and has great views too! They have Really good Happy hour specials.”
“Everything I order from Vinni’s Pizza is ALWAYS fresh tasting. My kids and I love trying the different specialty pizzas Detroit Style! The owner Vinni, every time I call, he is exceptionally polite, caring, always including coupons to your order. You can feel his customer service is just genuine and he is very patient when I’m so undecided from all the great choices.”
“Seriously, an old staple, simple, straightforward, no frills slamming porkroll egg and cheese sandwiches. The amount of porkroll you'll see them slice up is crazy. It's an old general store with old school candy not often seen around and Charlie's Chips in the nostslgic tins. You'll likely have met the owner without even knowing... everyone seems polite, which has served me. It's the tiniest kitchen and deli. Everything's tasted good.. soups, sandwiches, and deli foods. If you sit, you'll see one plate at a time come out, but it works here. Slow down, have a seat, and enjoy a good meal, good portion at a good price.Great place to grab food before or after a nice walk in Allaire parkTime forgot this place, but in a good way.P.S. Good is used a lot in this review... it's not mediocre.. there is just a goodness and simplicity to this place, and it's a pure compliment .”
“Omg!!? Such a nice find!! I just left DMV/MVC in West Deptford. Was there for a long time. My husband and I was hungry and looking for a close spot near the DMV. We were seated right away, service and food was fantastic!! We recommend everyone to check out this country restaurant. Vibe was good, service was fantastic and food was delicious!! Keep doing what you’re doing!! Loved it here!!!”
“This is my favorite place to get take out. I have a lot of food allergies and I talk to Chen and can ask questions about the ingredients to ensure they are safe for me to eat. They are friendly and accommodating. Cash only. It's better than all the card fees. I will always order food here!!!! It's delicious!!!!Vegetarian options: Bean curd (tofu) plenty of dishes have no meat and just veggies in the dishDietary restrictions: I have gluten, dairy and seafood allergies. I also do not eat beef or pork. I have never had a reaction due to a cross contamination issue. I really recommend the chicken mai fun with extra carrots and snow peasParking: Small amount of spots since it is in a strip mall but it is pretty quick. 15 minute parking for some spots. I have never had to wait for a spot. Right across from the Wawa on crown point road.”
“Got pizza last time and sandwiches this time. Pizzas are delicious with a nice chew on the crust. We got the vegan cheesesteak with dairy cheese, onion rings and eggplant Parm sandwich the next visit. Really enjoyed both Sammies and the onion rings. Food is always fresh with good quality ingredients.Vegetarian options: Vegan cheese steak really good”
“Great slices. Buffalo Chicken slice was good but you can't beat a plain cheese when it's made the right way. Tom was great and got me taken care of quickly. He said he was the owner's son, this place will be thriving for years to come if that is the case! Wish they had lunch specials but the food is at the level where they don't need them.”
“I conducted an experiment and ordered the same meal from 3 different Chinese restaurants at the same time. (I’m new to the area and wanted to find good Chinese take out quickly. haha!)I ordered general tso combo and wonton soup. The soup was fine, nothing special and probably wouldn’t get again. But the general tso’s was the best of all 3 restaurants! It was a little spicy, lots of chicken and not overly battered, good fried rice, good egg roll.I didn’t have high hopes given other reviews so I was pleasantly surprised! It was also the cheapest of the 3. This will definitely be my usual Chinese spot.Other places I tried were Happy Wok (the worst of the 3 and maybe worst I’ve ever had) and Sakana which was okay but very different than most General Tsos and also $4 more expensive.”
“I used to be a part-time employee for Happy Wok and my family still orders from the place frequently. It was quite upsetting when I saw how many bad reviews the store was getting even though it’s such a great store and I do believe it deserves much more stars.General Tso's chicken is one of their best sellers. They can sell at least two buckets of the chicken and during busy days, they can sell 3 to 4 buckets (these are HUGE buckets, I estimate at least 20 pounds of chicken per bucket). I was one of the ones who answered incoming calls and from what I saw, at least one order of General Tso's chicken would be placed during each call and it’s pretty common to take calls with 5-6 orders of General Tso's chicken. It’s their best seller. Everyone has different taste preferences so I do understand if people don’t like it, but I just want to share that their General Tso's chicken is really popular (it’s also one of my favorite dishes; their wonton soup, chicken with broccoli, cheese wontons, and their rolls are also DELICIOUS)I also want to say that they are very very generous. They give free food ALL THE TIME. I always see them throwing free foods like egg rolls, soups, or sodas into the bag even though the customer never used the coupon. Most importantly, they STUFF the plates with food. The plates are always STUFFED. I have to assist the chef and help them close the plates during busy hours and I always see that even when the plate is already filled, the chef would stuff a lot more to the plate, making it extremely difficult to close (not exaggerating at all, but sometimes it’s so hard to close that I need to use all my force or ask someone to close it with me). If you ordered from the place, you would definitely know what I’m talking about because the plates are so heavy and full that it’s amazing for only $10. The owner, the chefs, and everyone I worked with from this store are so friendly, so kind. Just try the store once and you would be amazed.”
“This popeyes assisted me with an issue that I did not realize was from another popeyes when I ordered on the app. Their customer service skills are wonderful and appreciated. The food was nice, hot and fresh. Very nice people.”
“Very nice people, they always remember my order. Maybe because I get the same thing all every time ?. Sometimes the guy in the drive thru don't give you your change you have to ask for it. smh”
“They usually get slammed throughout the day and get thru their lines pretty quickly at this location. Didn't know they bake their donuts on location here. They must have got done baking a little while ago. They gave me a perfect temperature warmth old fashion for my teething toddler and she is loving it! Staff is always friendly. I usually always do drive thru. Occasionally I'll stop inside”
“The drive thru service at the West Deptford Crown Pt Rd Wendy's is absolutely horrible and has been for over a year now. They always have one worker take the order and also accept the payments and give food to customers. If they would use both windows and let someone else just accept payments things would move quicker. They never do it tho and it's an average of 15 mins or so to go thru the drive thru and if there are a bunch of cars I j”
“We came here during restaurant week, and the servings are just enough for each member of the group to try. This restaurant serves great food that makes you want to appreciate every bite. Sampan is linked, and this location is typically busy. Since the dining room was downstairs, there was a kind of nice corridor leading to it. You and your group can choose from a small variety of dishes to share at the table during restaurant week, with some items having an additional fee. There was a stronger romantic vibe. Here, the Kobe beef is a great choice.”
“The heirloom corn grits with crab fat sofrito & mother rucker burger were made to profección. Our server who I believe said her name was “(mi-ahh)” was also a vibe-genuine.”
“With an ever-changing menu, I know that no matter what vegan dish I order from Primary it’s always going to be exciting and delicious. Many of the dishes have kept me up at night from the french toast to the cheesesteak and the jackfruit medianoche.Chef Mark has always been hospitable and attentive, and you can tell how much passion he has for his plates and his community. This restaurant is truly a gem in Philly and the team behind its magic deserve all the success. If you’re looking for a place to try, you cannot go wrong by visiting Primary.”
“We are so incredibly lucky to live less than a 10min walk from West Passyunk to Stina. The food, staff and space are a perfectly balanced blend with so much love, care and attention to detail put into each dish. Order everything… Stina forever! 5⭐️”
“I've been here a few times, it's a fun place to bring people because of the whole speakeasy vibe. They don't take reservations so it's hit or miss if you can actually get in. Drinks are hit or miss for me too. Over time I've done drinks from the menu and the bartenders choice. I know it sounds silly but I really dislike the ice they use! It's like ice chips which cheapens the drinks, which seems to go against the suave swanky vibe. I got the pickle mule this time though and really liked it.”
“The dining experience here was pretty good but not exceptional. The food was alright for the price, service was friendly enough albeit a little bit slow and lacking in attention.”
“The food here is absolutely incredible. Just next level sushi that makes you not want to eat sushi from anywhere else. That RICE is just perfect. Also if you're lucky enough to snag a spot at the Omakase then you're in for a REAL treat. :)”
“Having grown up with Texas breakfast tacos I was excited to see a spot in Philly to create what I was missing from home. Bfast taco was good, flavor was def there. A bit on the pricier end for a breakfast taco, even with a homemade tortilla. Was hoping all salsas were given out as well, tried the guaijlo , had good flavor. Not sure if I’ll be a reg just because they’re pricey. But I do appreciate what they are bringing to Philly.”
“Such a great experience. The service was quick. Oh the food ???Vegetarian options: Of the 10 options 3 were vegan based so I’d say that’s a plus!Dietary restrictions: Plant-based preferred”
“A stellar experience from start to finish. Our server, Morrigan, was friendly and knowledgable. Every dish was well thought through. And the decor & ambiance complements the concept brilliantly. It is obvious that this team knows what they’re doing and cares deeply about excellence. Will be back whenever we’re in the city.”
“Stopped by here for a quick dinner during Wrestlemania 40 weekend in Philly. Such a cool place with neat decorations through out. If you're a metal head/horror enthusiast, definitely come here. Service was excellent and I started with the Mac And Cheese Balls, which was delicious. Then, I had the spaghetti with 'meatballs.' Good, but thought had way too much tomato sauce.Again, the decor was awesome, atmosphere is chill and had horror movie scenes/commercials playing on their TVs. Would recommend!”
“Bought shrimp tacos, chicken tacos, esquites, chicken tacos and guacamole. The only downside is that the chicken tacos were made with dark chicken thigh meat, I wrongly assumed it would be chicken breast (my fault for not asking).Otherwise good decent food!”
“Very small intimate space with the open kitchen directly on the floor. Had an incredible experience here! The staff was super friendly and bantered with us all night. The stand out to me was the scallop toast, it practically melts in your mouth. Though everything we had was excellent flavor and presentation wise. I will absolutely be back!”
“Definitely the best omakase in Philly!! Quaint bar setting BYOB! Right up close great sushi masters. No special occasion just decided to have sushi with my son. Every course was outstanding! Flavors were amazing. I love seeing the reactions of the other patrons as the eat the courses! Will definitely be back many time hopefully. Well worth the drive great neighborhood ample parking. Beware of the non descript building. At $158 you will be very satisfied with every bite. The ala carte menu has some great add ins priced accordingly 20-38$. They offer hot and cold tea as well as a few soft drinks and water.Parking: Parking down the street metered cash or credit card. Get the appWheelchair accessibility: Same level as street.”
“The only Thai place I will order from in the entire Philadelphia vicinity. The best staff. The best food. The best experience. I will forever give JJ Thai my business and always recommend them to friends & family. By the way, if your server is Air, be prepared because she is the absolute best server I have came across in any restaurant. I worked in the service industry myself, and to come across someone like Air is truly a blessing. She is so friendly, goes above and beyond, and always ensures the best customer service. Thank you JJ Thai and thank you Air for continuous unforgettable experiences.”
“The first time I ever tried Fruiggie Too they were slammed and I waited almost 30 minutes for my order. However, their excellent customer service and delicious menu is the reason I continue to go back! There isn’t one thing on the menu I tried and didn’t like. Keep up the great work ??”
