“My first visit to this restaurant on August 21st, 2025 was a resounding success, with the food being truly exceptional. The grilled salmon, accompanied by onion rings and vegetables, was a highlight, and our waitress, Jean, provided attentive and friendly service, making us feel right at home. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant for its outstanding cuisine, service, and ambiance. Oh btw, the complementary bread alone is worth the trip!“

“What you would expect from Dairy Queen as far as a soft serve cone. What separates this place is its old school DQ vibe. The building with that red roof is just like back in the day. The inside and outside was really clean on my visit. So added points for the attention to detail. Will have to get this photo on the Golden Cone App as well.“

“These guys are always on point. I have never had a bad experience in 14 years living here. One time I was annoyed and complained and the manager called me to make it right. In todays times, you can’t beat that. Just made a large order for a kids birthday party and it was double checked and made fresh. The employee engaged me and was helpful about what I should get for all the kids. Great service.“

“First time stopping in. The food was great. And the price was very reasonable. The place has great atmosphere, clean & so much to choose from. Staff was super friendly. Especially Brooks, who went above & beyond helping us try decide what to order. I'm not kidding when I say everything looked so good. He kindly gave different suggestions. “What a place with an old time feel! They are on their game, we ordered on the road 10 minutes out and when we showed up our food was waiting for us. After looking around the building, they have a great condiments bar for all your needs! All the employees were working to get people their food and everything from the kitchen that was on the shelf for customers looked awesome! We got cheese burger clubs and some dogs, which were awesome! Bathrooms and everything was very clean and these guys definitely pay attention to detail on everything! In conclusion, all the food we had was great and these guys will see a surge in patronage as word of mouth goes along way. We just stopped in for a quick lunch on coming home from the beach, and the place continued to fill up as we were there! Johnny, Christos, and company are doing a great job and we will be back very often, because their food and menu options are that good! As I am writing, my wife continues to tell me about the food choices available from the Lantern, which is making me hungry as I write this! You boys have a great thing going and keep it up as we will be continuous customers moving forward!

“This was the best blizzard I've ever had. All other dairy queens I've been to have made me either wrong blizzards or liquidy blizzards and God forbid they ever flip it as the dairy queen motto says. They brought us the blizzards, flipped it in front of us and they were better tasting than any blizzards I've ever had. The food was fantastic, better than any fast food place I've ever been to. I am astonished by the quality of this place. The only thing I'm disappointed in is that it isn't closer to my house.“

“It's a Burger King. The app worked well, and I was adequately fed. Of course the fries aren't as good as McDonald's, and no hi caffeine soda, also missing at Mickey D. I was there at school leaving and was impressed by how energetic but self disciplined the kids were. Perhaps folks checking out perspective neighborhoods should visit a fast food place on a Friday afternoon. They might get a good sense of what the local schools are like.“

“A Great night at the Cove Castle last night. My girlfriend and I attended the History of Greenwood Lake event at the Cove and it was very enjoyable. Bob, Andrea, Chuck and the entire crew made the experience exceptional. The setting and view of the lake from the second floor dinning room was beautiful. The food was delicious and the presentation was excellent. Drinks were large and reasonably priced. In Bob's 5 years at the Cove Castle he has transformed the place into a fine place to dine, drink and enjoy top notch entertainment. Can't wait to return to "The place to go" on Greenwood Lake.“

“While I do like this location and staff, the food quality for mcdonald's in general has to improve. Fries were fresh and probably the best part of my meal. Chicken nuggets tasted like breaded chewing gum. I had a quarter pounder and it was so flavorless that it tasted like cardboard not even extra ketchup helped the patty which by the way looked like a cheeseburger patty. Nothing quarter pound about it. Will be back for the fries though.“
